Mustafov Reduces the Field by One

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Fahredin Mustafov opened to 3,000 from the hijack and Henri Lauret called from the cutoff before Piero Alioto shoved from the button for around 40,000. Mustafov called with a covering stack while Lauret got out of the way.

Piero Alioto: 1010 All in
Fahredin Mustafov: AQ

The AKK flop gave Mustafov aces-up leaving Alioto drawing to just two outs. He failed to improve when the rest of the board ran out 23 and was sent to the rail while Mustafov added more chips to his stack.

State Cracks Kennedy's Aces

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Anthony Kennedy got his 30,000 chips into the middle preflop with Adrian-Sorel State making the call to put him at risk.

Anthony Kennedy: AA All in
Adrian-Sorel State: JJ

Kennedy was in the perfect position to double up until the dealer fanned out the flop of J63, giving State a set of jacks. The 7 turn and 5 river didn't improve Kennedy's aces, and he was out of the tournament.

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With two players seeing a board of 952 and around 7,000 in the middle, Maria Ho checked from the small blind and Andrew Chen bet 3,000 from under the gun. Ho made the call.

Both players checked the A turn leading to the 5 river. Chen bet 13,000 and was once again called by Ho.

Chen turned over aces-up with A9 and Ho quickly mucked.

Sitbon's Stack on a Steady Rise

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There were around 12,000 chips in the middle on a board of KJ107 when both Julien Sitbon and Marcus Wuttke checked.

A 6 river put four to a flush on board and Sitbon bet 5,200. Wuttke thought for a few moments but elected to fold, which left him with around 25,000 in his stack. On the other hand, Sitbon's stack has been slowly rising over the past few levels and now sits at around 160,000.
