Di Nicola Falls Short

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Ermanno Di Nicola
Ermanno Di Nicola

With the 874 flop already on the felt and about 9,500 in the middle, Bradley Harwood was seen with his entire stack of 20,700 across the line from the small blind against Ermanno Di Nicola who started the hand in early position.

Bradley Harwood: AQ All in
Ermanno Di Nicola: 109

Di Nicola flopped an open-ended straight draw and a flush draw, but Harwood had the nut flush draw taking away some of his outs. The A turn and Q river improved Harwood to two pair as he raked in the double.

Rudolph Earns the Pot with a Check-Raise

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Christian Rudolph opened 700 in early position and called a three-bet of 2,100 from Dorian Dizy in the cutoff.

When the 995 flop hit the felt, Rudolph check-called a continuation bet of 900.

The 10 hit the turn, and Rudolph checked again before Dizy fired 2,500. Rudolph then check-raised to 5,700, and that was enough to drag the pot as Dizy's cards hit the muck.

It's Not D'Annolfo's Day

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Fabio D'Annolfo shoved his short stack of around 3,000 into the pot from the hijack and was called by Stephen Song in the cutoff & Slobodan Ruzicic on the button.

Both checked the 946 flop to see the 6 turn. Song led out for 4,000, and Ruzicic folded.

Fabio D'Annolfo: 44 All in
Stephen Song: A9

D'Annolfo was the firm favorite to get some chips back but a 6 on the river improved Song to a bigger full house, much to the dismay of D'Annolfo.

"It's not his day," could be heard from the table after D'Annolfo had already left the tournament area.

Christophe Panetti
Christophe Panetti

Pieter de Necker had opened and Diego Belmonte three-bet to 2,500 before Christophe Panetti shoved for his last 6,000. De Necker folded, but Belmonte called.

Christophe Panetti: KQ All in
Diego Belmonte: AK

Panetti never improved on the 46845 runout which meant he was eliminated, with the rest of his stack headed in Belmonte's direction.

On the same table, Quan Zhou has lost half of his starting stack and has 15,000 chips — still good for fifty big blinds.
