Ivarsson Gets One-Outed to Early Exit

Alexander Ivarsson had raised to 600 in the small blind, which Felix Vu three-bet to 1,600 in the big blind. Ivarsson then moved all in for 17,000, which Vu immediately called.

Ivarsson needed to hit an ace to stay alive, and he did just so on the A♥10♦9♥ flop. However, Vu hit the final queen in the deck on the Q♦ turn to take an enormous lead.

The 5♠ river did not give Ivarsson a full house, leaving him empty-handed as he exited the tournament room.

Walter Van Camberg, Jerome Follet, Alf Onnestam, and Serge Chechin had all called preflop, after which Paolo Bonfanti checked his big blind.

The flop fell 9♣7♥J♣ and the action was checked to Van Camberg in early position. He bet 1,300 and was called by Folet in middle positon.

Onnestam then moved all in for 17,400, which folded out Chechin and Bonfanti in the blinds.

Van Camberg, however, reshoved for 52,000, sending Follet into the tank. Eventually, the Frenchman folded for the remaining two players to show down.

Van Camberg's higher pair remained best on the K♦4♥ runout, busting Onnestam and seeing Van Camberg chip up even further.

Three-way to a flop of Q♥3♠10♣, the action checked to Vanni Losi in the cutoff in a pot worth 12,000 chips. He made a bet of 3,000, which Bernard De Breyne tried to raise to 4,000 from middle position.

Since that was not allowed, his action was ruled as a call. Andrea Salamone folded in the hijack, after which the 4♦ turn was dealt. De Breyne checked again, and Losi bet 6,000.

This time, De Breyne put in a valid raise to 12,500. That was enough to let Losi muck his cards, and chips headed De Breyne's way.

Drai Calls Down and Gets There

Following an early position raise to 400, Sergio Denaro three-bet to 1,600 in middle position and was called by David Drai on the button. The original raiser folded.

On the 7♠5♦2♦ flop, Denaro continued for 2,200 and got a call to see the 5♠ turn.

Denaro sized up to 6,000 and once again Drai called.

The river brought the K♣, and a final bet came in from Denaro for another 6,000. Drai wasted little time and called.

Denaro showed Q♣Q♦ for an overpair of queens, but Drai revealed a non-believing A♦K♠ which hit a pair of kings on the river.

With about 4,000 in the middle on a flop of K♠7♠2♦, following a check from the big blind, Tobias Peters bet 1,300 and got a call from Leif Niels Krutschinna in middle position. The big blind folded.

The turn brought the J♣ and Peters bet another 2,700 which got another call to see the 9♣ hit the river.

Peters sized up to 7,600 and got a quick call from Krutschinna.

Peters showed 9♥9♦ for a rivered set of nines to take down a healthy pot.

Kroustalakis Out After Running Into Set

The action was picked up on a turn of K♠9♣4♦10♦. With 14,000 in the pot, Konstantino Kroustalakis made a bet of 12,000 from under the gun, after which Agustin Naranja in the cutoff put him all-in for 20,000 total.

Kroustalakis called it off as both players tabled their cards.
