Pardo Doubles Through Mokri

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Juan Pardo
Juan Pardo

Playing five-handed, Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 30,000 from the hijack and Kayhan Mokri shoved with the biggest stack on the table from the button. Juan Pardo called for his last 190,000 from the small blind and Ponakovs reluctantly folded his cards.

Juan Pardo: 1010 All in
Kayhan Mokri: 66

Pardo was poised to double up with pocket tens. The AAJ flop meant only a six would send Pardo out of the tournament. The 7 turn followed by the J river didn't help Mokri and he had to send a big portion of his stack over to Pardo.

Ponakovs Uses His 'One Time' Against Ding

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action folded to Aleksejs Ponakovs who moved all in from the small blind. Biao Ding peeled his cards in the big blind, first turning over the 9 followed by the A as he called.

Aleksejs Ponakovs: A3 All in
Biao Ding: A9

"No," Ding said as the K42 flop gave Ponakovs hope with a straight draw. The turn was the 6, while the 3 river gave Ponakovs a pair and the pot as Ding was left extremely short-stacked.

"I used my one time," Ponakovs said.

Ding was left with just 20,000 and was eliminated shortly afterward.
