Zubov Gets Paid by Lasouski Heading to Dinner

Ren Lin raised to 24,000 in middle position and Artsiom Lasouski three-bet to 75,000 in the hijack. Lewis Spencer then four-bet to 126,000 on the button and both Lin and Lasouski folded.

"Nice try," Lin told Lasouski.

"He's Belarussian, so he should play good," tablemate Ivan Bryksin said.

"Good looking, too," Lin said.

"Must be nice to be young and rich," Bryksin added.

Lasouski raised again the next hand, making it 25,000 from middle position. Alexander Zubov three-bet to 75,000 in the small blind and Lasouski called.

The flop came 7♦5♣4♦ and Zubov bet 60,000. Lasouski called and both players checked the 6♠ turn. The river was the 6♣ and Zubov bet 70,000.

Lasouski quickly called, then mucked when Zubov turned over J♥J♣ as both players joined the rest of the field on dinner.

The flop came J♥7♥2♠ and Vaskaboinikau continued for 25,000. Maue then raised to 60,000 and Vaskaboinikau quickly folded.

The next hand, Vaskaboinikau again raised to 35,000 in the hijack and Maue called in the small blind.

Vaskaboinikau bet 25,000 on the A♣8♠5♥ flop and Maue called. Both players checked the K♥ turn and Maue led out for 50,000 on the Q♦ river. Vaskaboinikau again surrendered the pot.

Jamil Wakil raised to 32,000 from under the gun with Manuel Carvalho three-betting to 75,000 from the seat next to him. After the rest of the table folded, Wakil made the call.

The dealer fanned out the flop of 7♥A♠2♦ and Wakil check-called a bet of 22,000 from Carvalho.

Wakil checked again on the 5♦ turn and Carvalho bet enough to put Wakil all in, which was for roughly 170,000. Wakil snap-called.

Wakil had slowplayed pocket aces and hit top set, but Carvalho still had a flush draw that he could hit on the river to win the pot.

With around 120,000 in the pot on a flop of 9♥7♣5♥, Aliaksei Boika bet 30,000 from the cutoff and Aleksejs Ponakovs called under the gun, while Zhendong Li folded the big blind.

The turn was the 4♥ and Boika bet another 75,000. Ponakovs again called and the 8♣ fell on the river. Boika then bet 275,000 and Ponakovs paused for a moment before folding.

At another table, Artsiom Lasouski doubled up for 480,000 when he was all in against Atanas Malinov on a board of 8♣2♦5♦J♥2♣. Lasouski held A♦8♦ in middle position for top pair, while Malinov could only show 7x6x for a missed straight draw as he handed over the big pot.
