Fritz had woken up with aces and was a big favorite to double his short stack as the board ran out 7♥6♠4♣9♠6♣.

A hand after Manuel Fritz doubled off Zhendong Li, the two opponents tangled in another pot as they went heads up to a flop of K♣8♥6♣.

Li then bet 35,000 from the hijack and Fritz raised to 95,000 in the big blind. Li moved all in and Fritz quickly called for 264,000.

Fritz was ahead with a pair of eights against Li's ace-high. The 4♦ turn was safe for Fritz and the Q♣ river earned him yet another double up.

Zubov Puts Spencer in the Blender

Lewis Spencer raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and Alexander Zubov three-bet to 200,000 out of the small blind. Spencer called.

Zubov bet 100,000 on the A♥4♣5♠ flop and Spencer called.

Zubov bet again when the A♠ hit the turn, this time for 125,000. Spencer called again.

Zubov fired a bet of 263,000 on the J♥ river, and Spencer went deep into the tank, using roughly five of his time banks. Eventually, he tossed his cards into the muck and surrendered the pot to Zubov.

Jamil Wakil was eliminated on another table and is no longer in the tournament.

Both players checked the A♠10♠10♦ flop to see the Q♣ come on the turn. Gutierrez bet 40,000 and Boika called.

Gutierrez bet 90,000 when the 2♥ hit the river and Boika called. Gutierrez turned over king-high with K♥8♥ and lost to the top pair of Boika with A♦J♦.

The A♣Q♥2♥ flop left Spencer a big favorite as he hit top pair and the nut flush draw. The 7♣ turn gave Vaskaboinikau his own flush draw, while the 8♣ river completed Vaskaboinikau's flush and sent Spencer to the rail.

Artsiom Lasouski opened to 80,000 from middle position before Artur Martirosian shoved for roughly 225,000 from the cutoff. Zhendong Li then jammed over the top for 250,000 and Lasouski made the call to put them both at risk.
