Li Busts Leonard

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Patrick Leonard raised to 40,000 from the hijack with just 1,000 behind. Zhendong Li called from the cutoff and Dennis Schrijvers called out of the small blind.

The flop of 4510 was checked to Li and he bet 75,000. Schrijvers folded, but Leonard called for his last yellow T-1000 chip.

Patrick Leonard: J10 All in
Zhendong Li: K10

Both players had flopped top pair, but it was Li's king-kicker that put him way ahead. The K turn left Leonard drawing dead to the two pair of Li, as the J came on the river and Leonard was out of the tournament.

Dmitry Yurasov: A10 All in

Boika's Cowboys Send Mahmoud Home

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Yassin Mahmoud
Yassin Mahmoud

Aliaksei Boika raised to 25,000 from early position and Yassin Mahmoud three-bet shoved for roughly 280,000 from the button. After the blinds folded, Boika snap-called.

Yassin Mahmoud: 66 All in
Aliaksei Boika: KK

Mahmoud needed to find a six or he would bust just before the dinner break. The 5AK flop gave Boika a set of kings and meant Mahmoud could only survive with runner-runner quads. The miracle didn't happen for Mahmoud as the rest of the board ran out 8J and all of his chips were sent over to Boika.
