Wigg Spikes Two-Outer to Obliterate Okolovich

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Anton Wigg
Anton Wigg

Hubert Matuszewski opened to 24,000 from early position, before Iurii Okolovich three-bet jammed for around 220,000 from middle position.

Action folded to Anton Wigg in the big blind, and he rejammed with a stack covering both players, convincing Matuszewski to get out of the way.

Iurii Okolovich: JJ All in
Anton Wigg: 1010

Okolovich dominated with his overpair jacks, and the 886 flop was clear.

However, the 10 hit on the turn in cruel fashion to put Wigg in front, and the 2 river was not the jack Okolovich required to survive.

Cohen's Stack Yo-Yoing, Hu Doubles With Aces

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Zhewen Hu
Zhewen Hu

Lucien Cohen has been involved in a few pots since players returned from dinner, and just played two back-to-back all-in hands.

First, Zhewen Hu opened from the hijack to 25,000 and Cohen defended his big blind.

On the flop of 983, Cohen open-shoved, and Hu snap-called for his stack of 171,000.

Zhewen Hu: AA All in
Lucien Cohen: Q8

"Queen. Queen. Queen!" Cohen kept repeating, but it didn't come as the KJ runout kept the aces of Hu in the lead, which left Cohen with just 33,000.

The very next hand, Boris Tabiyev raised from under the gun to 25,000 and Cohen shoved from the small blind for 33,000. Chakib Mhiri called in the big blind, and Tabiyev also called.

The side pot remained empty as Mhiri and Tabiyev checked it down on the 99Q83 board where Cohen showed K8 for a pair of eights, Mhiri mucked, and Tabiyev showed A10, which meant Cohen tripled up.

"I am the ratman!" was once again shouted by Cohen as he raked in the pot.

Munoz' Bluff Falls Flat as Jackson Wins with Ace High

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Marta Miquel Munoz
Marta Miquel Munoz

Daniel Jackson opened the action with a raise to 24,000 from under the gun, and Marta Miquel Munoz made the call in the big blind.

Both players checked the 799 flop.

When the 7 hit the turn, Munoz led out with a bet of 35,000, and Jackson called.

On the 6 river, Munoz took her time, burning a time bank card before betting 100,000. After some thought, Jackson made the call. Munoz revealed 54 for a bluff, while Jackson showed A6 for ace-high, which was enough to take the pot, leaving Munoz short-stacked.

Lucien Cohen

Chakib Mhiri opened from under the gun and Lucien Cohen shoved from the big blind for a little under 90,000. Mhiri called.

Lucien Cohen: JJ All in
Chakib Mhiri: 109

Cohen was looking to survive again with his short stack and did maintain his lead on the 3A9 flop, but did give him a sweat as Mhiri paired his nine. An 8 dropped on the turn, which brought Cohen one step closer to a double-up.

"SURVIVAL! SURVIVAL!" screamed Cohen at the top of his lungs.

"I am the ratman!" shouted Cohen when he saw the J hit the river, which gave him a set and ensured his safety.

Philip Joyce
Philip Joyce

Nicolas Chouity opened to 25,000 under the gun, and was met with a three-bet to 66,000 by Philip Joyce in the cutoff. Action folded back to Chouity, who called.

On the KK2 flop, Chouity check-called versus a bet of 30,000 from Joyce.

The 4 turn followed the same pattern, this time in respect of a bet of 65,000 from Joyce.

The 3 river completed the board, and Chouity checked for a third time. Joyce used a time bank to ponder the spot, and fired out a bet of 110,000.

Chouity used a time bank considering his options, but ultimately made the call. He was shown the bad news when Joyce revealed QQ for two pair, kings and queens, forcing Chouity to muck.

Tsouloftas Calls, Sees the Flush, and Can’t Believe His Eyes

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Oliver Weis kicked off the action with a raise to 24,000, getting called by Hubert Matuszewski on the button and Georgios Tsouloftas in the big blind.

All three players checked the 9K10 flop and the Q turn.

On the 6 river, Tsouloftas, first to act, led out with a bet of 30,000. Weis took his time before making the fold. Matuszewski then raised to 120,000, and Tsouloftas made the call, leading to a showdown. Matuszewski revealed 87 for a rivered flush. Tsouloftas, stunned, took off his sunglasses in disbelief before tossing his cards into the muck.

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Mateus Wozniak
Mateus Wozniak

Mateusz Wozniak shoved from the hijack for around 130,000 and Mikhail Shalamov called in the cutoff.

Mateusz Wozniak: QJ All in
Mikhail Shalamov: AJ

Wozniak was way behind and didn't find much to work with on the 847 flop. A 9 on the turn did give Wozniak a gutshot to a higher straight, but the 6 river was a brick, which meant he was eliminated.

The turn was the K and Tsouloftas bet another 28,000. Tasyurek again called and the 7 river was checked down.
