Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Philip Joyce

A massive pile of chips was already in the middle as Natan Chauskin and Philip Joyce went to the turn with the board showing 2665.

According to Joyce, Chauskin had three-bet in the small blind and he called in the cutoff. Chauskin then continued for one-third pot on the flop and Joyce again called.

On the turn, Chauskin slid forward 110,000 and Joyce called once more. The river was the A and Chauskin moved all in for 220,000.

Joyce snap-called and turned over 55 for a full house. Chauskin tossed AJ into the muck and made his exit while Joyce climbed over 1,000,000.

"Nice turn, sir," tablemate Ivan Zabiiakin said.

"Nice river, more importantly," Joyce replied.

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Boris Kuzmanovic opened to 16,000 from early position, and received a call from Roeland Peeks in middle position, and Iurii Okolovich and Istvan Toth in the blinds.

The J33 flop was checked to Peeks, who fired out a bet of 16,000, which only Toth called.

The 7 river was checked through. On the 3 river, Toth led out with a bet of 30,000.

Peeks made the call and tabled 88 for the full house, which took the pot versus Toth's 22 for a lower full house.

Savior Jack on the River Keeps Liperis Alive

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Georgios Skarparis started the action with a raise to 16,000 from early position, and Yiannis Liperis, sitting on the button, responded by going all in. Skarparis quickly called, and the cards were revealed.

Yiannis Liperis: AQAll in
Georgios Skarparis: AK

Liperis was slightly behind, and the flop Q7K gave both players a pair, but Skarparis had the better one with kings.

Liperis stood up as the 10 hit the turn, but Skarparis, still in his seat, remarked, "Maybe there's a jack." He was right—the river revealed the J, saving Liperis and resulting in a split pot.

Tsouloftas Wins Three in a Row, Sending Kostagiolas to the Rail

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Georgios Tsouloftas
Georgios Tsouloftas

With about 150,000 in the pot and the board showing 8JKQ8, Romain Retiere was facing a bet of 320,000 from Georgios Tsouloftas, putting him all in. After using two time bank cards, Retiere decided to fold, giving the pot to Tsouloftas.

On the very next hand, Tsouloftas opened the action with a raise to 17,000 from the middle position, and Leonidas Kostagiolas responded by going all in for 121,000. After a brief pause, Tsouloftas made the call, and they went to showdown.

Leonidas Kostagiolas: K10All in
Georgios Tsouloftas: 55

The board offered no help to Kostagiolas, running out 82QA6, and he was eliminated as Tsouloftas added to his stack again.

If that wasn’t enough, on the very next hand, Tsouloftas scooped the blinds and antes after opening once more, as no one wanted to challenge his hot streak.
