James Takes From Sticky Postel

Dick Postel raised to 40,000 in the hijack with K10. Small blind Bobby James made it 140,000 to go with A2, which Postel called. James continued for 40,000 on the 364 flop.

Undeterred, Postel checked his cards and called to the 7 turn, where James sized up to 285,000. Postel grabbed his chips but appeared to change his mind and let his cards go, surrendering the pot to the chipleader.

Chakib Mhiri raised to 30,000 in the cutoff and Andrea Dato three-bet to 90,000 on the button. Mhiri then four-bet to 280,000 and Dato moved all in for 625,000.

Mhiri took a minute before folding as Dato took the last pot before break.

At the same time at another table, Artem Kotkovskyi was all in for 225,000 from the hijack and up against Fahredin Mustafov in the cutoff.

Mustafov spiked a set on the KQJ, then improved to a full house as the board ran out 6J to send Kotkovskyi to the rail.

Yisha Chen limped in from the small blind. Roeland Peeks checked in the big blind, after which Chen checked the 9410 flop to Peeks.

Peeks bet 20,000 and was called by Chen. The 8 turn was checked through before Chen fired 55,000 on the Q river. Peeks spent some time in the tank, using one of his time banks.

Eventually, he called off. Chen turned over 55 for fifth pair. However, Peeks played 42 for a pair of fours, and the pot was shipped to Chen anyway.

Weis Picks Off Zhugralin

Heads-up on a flop of JJ10, Damir Zhugralin bet 30,000 from the hijack and Oliver Weis raised to 90,000 in the small blind. Zhugralin called.

Both players then checked the J turn. The river was the 8 and Weis checked again. Zhugralin then bet 195,000 and Weis used up several time banks before calling.

Zhugralin showed KQ for bluff and Weis turned over 98 for a full house to win the pot.

Lijo's King is Good

Lander Lijo and Georgios Tsouloftas were clashing again in a pot on a board of 3JK4. There were around 250,000 chips in the pot when Lijo announced a bet of 115,000 and slid the chips forward, then Tsouloftas called.

An A dropped on the river where both players checked it down. Lijo showed a pair of kings with K8, and Tsouloftas said "It's good" before he mucked.

Chen Five-Bet Shoves

Dick Postel raised to 30,000 in the hijack. Yisha Chen then three-bet to 85,000 in the cutoff before Samuel Dray made it 185,000 to go in the big blind. Postel needed one time bank before he tossed his 88.

Chen then used four of her own and committed her stack of 670,000 with her AQ. Eventually, Dray folded QXx as Chen took down the pot without a flop.
