James Wins Three-Way Showdown

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Philip Joyce raised to 30,000 in middle position. Dick Postel called in the cutoff, after which Bobby James defended his big blind.

The 82A flop saw the action check to Postel, who bet 45,000. Both James and Joyce called. The 9 turn and 2 river were then checked down.

James showed 64 for a flush, causing Joyce to muck his A5. Postel's AJ was no good either as James reclaimed some lost chips.

Tsouloftas Flops Trips, Lijo Bluff-Shoves River

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Georgios Tsouloftas
Georgios Tsouloftas

A pot between Lander Lijo and Georgios Tsouloftas had already swelled to around 900,000 on a full board of 9Q948 when Lijo fired a huge bet of 775,000 on the river. Tsouloftas only had 575,000 behind and dumped all of his time-bank cards into the pot, which indicated he had a tough decision.

Surprisingly, Tsouloftas didn't actually need to use any of them as he shrugged his shoulders and quickly announced a call.

Lijo showed J5 for a missed flush draw, and Tsouloftas had trips with A9 to scoop the pot, which sent his stack toward the two-million mark.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Andriy Lyubovetskiy opened to 35,000 from under the gun. Ranno Sootla and Hubert Matuszewski called from the hijack and button.

Anton Wigg raised from under the gun to 35,000 and Fahredin Mustafov three-bet to 105,000 out of the hijack. When it got back to Wigg, he called.

On the 24Q flop, Wigg check-called a bet of 40,000 from Mustafov and saw the 8 drop on the turn, which went check-check.

The 3 river drew a tiny bet out of Wigg for 35,000, and Mustafov released his cards.

Jackson and James Joust

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Bobby James
Bobby James

Daniel Jackson opened in middle position for 30,000. The action folded to Bobby James in the big blind, who called. James check-called Jackson's bet of 25,000 on the 2A7 flop as well as the 110,000 he put in on the Q turn.

The 4 then fell on the river. Jackson completed his triple barrel with a pot-sized bet of 360,000. James pondered a call as he tossed in a time bank. Eventually, he gathered the required chips and put them in the middle.

Jacosn tabled 55 for a pair of fives. James showed down 87 for a daring call with a pair of sevens. He collected the large pot and crossed the three-million mark as a result of his heroisms.

Khorchidian Gets it in Good, Lyubovetskiy Improves on Turn and River

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Nichan Khorchidian
Nichan Khorchidian

On a flop of 8J10, Nichan Khorchidian had committed his stack of around 250,000 to the pot, and had been put at risk by Ukraine's Andriy Lyubovetskiy.

Nichan Khorchidian: Q10 All in
Andriy Lyubovetskiy: A7

Both had flopped flush draws, but it was Khorchidian who held the lead with his pair of tens and was the favorite to double up. However, things took a turn for the worst for Khorchidian on the A turn, as Lyubovetskiy improved to top pair. Only a king, queen, ten, or a nine could save Khorchidian, and despite improving to a flush on the 4 river, Lyubovetskiy's flush was bigger.
