Nanos Spikes the River For a Double Knockout

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Three-handed on a board of K5K7, Dimitrios Nanos bet 6,500 from the small blind before Claude Martinez moved all in for 31,000 in the big blind. Gerald Soldermann also committed his last 19,000 from under the gun and Nanos called to put both players at risk.

Soldermann was ahead with KQ for trips, while Martinez had 76 and Nanos Q7 for a flush draw. The river was the 10 to give Nanos his flush as Soldermann spun away from the table in disgust.

Nanos got up from his seat and went to exchange a fist bump with both his defeated opponents before he took in the pot.

Wheeler Takes From Saliba and Arch

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Vivian Saliba opened to 4,000 from early position before Jason Wheeler three-bet to 13,000 from the button. Marlon Arch called from the big blind and Saliba also tagged along.

Action checked through on the J104 flop and then it checked to Wheeler on the 2 turn. He bet 15,000 and was called by both opponents.

The 5 river checked through to showdown. Arch tabled AK which prompted Saliba to muck. Wheeler then proudly turned over his pocket sevens to take in the pot.

Aiba Runs Into Alilovic's Set in Massive Pot

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of A23, Koichi Aiba bet 15,000 from the big blind before Miroslav Alilovic raised to 40,000 in the hijack. Aiba then moved all in for 110,000 and Alilovic called.

Koichi Aiba: AK All in
Miroslav Alilovic: 33

Aiba showed down top pair, but Alilovic had flopped a set to leave Aiba at risk of elimination. The K turn gave Aiba some outs heading to the river, but he missed on the 9 river and Alilovic scooped the massive pot to send Aiba to the rail.

Theveniaud Climbs to the Top of the Counts with Straight Flush

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In the closing stages of the last level, Serhii Leonov opened to 4,000 from under the gun and was called by Harry Lodge and Cedric Theveniaud from the hijack and big blind.

Leonov continued for 7,000 on the 785 flop and only Theveniaud called.

The 3 turn saw Theveniaud check-call for 19,000 which brought in the 6 river. Theveniaud led out for 22,000 and was quickly called.

Amazingly, Theveniaud turned over 64 for a flopped straight flush while Leonov was shocked to see he was beat as he had KJ.

Theveniaud's good times continued shortly after, as he picked up pocket kings and used them to see off Diego Angeli after the latter jammed for around 100,000 with pocket sevens.
