Rough Few Hands for Der Megreditchian

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Victor Der Megreditchian opened to 6,500 from under the gun and was called by Gerard Fenech and Harry Lodge from the middle position and the big blind.

Der Megreditchian continued for 7,500 on the Q87 flop and only Fenech called. Der Megreditchian then check-called for 11,500 on the 7 turn.

The 10 river checked through to showdown and Fenech had trips for the checkmark as he tabled A7.

The following hand, Vivian Saliba opened to 6,000 from the hijack. Clement Michaud called from the cutoff before Der Megreditchian jammed for around 75,000. Saliba called off her stack of 64,000, prompting Michaud to fold.

Vivian Saliba: 9x9x All in
Victor Der Megreditchian: Ax5x

Der Megreditchian was left as the short stack after Saliba's remained best following the K7326 runout.

Shortly after the hand, Der Megreditchian was eliminated.

Fenech Shows Saliba the Nuts

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Vivian Saliba bet 6,000 from the big blind on a flop of 326 and Gerard Fenech called on the button.

The turn was the J and Saliba bet another 7,000. Fenech then raised to 22,000 and Saliba called.

The river came the K and Fenech bet 40,000. Saliba gave it some thought before ultimately mucking.

"One pair," she said. Fenech then flipped over 54 for the flopped straight as he took the pot.

"Good fold," he told her.

Ankit Ahuja

Ankit Ahuja had a raise of 23,000 in front of him from under the gun on a board of Q444 before Clement Michaud moved all in for around 50,000 in the big blind. Ahuja practically beat him into the pot.

Michaud had QJ for a full house, but Ahuja had the goods as he showed down A4 for quads. The inconsequential river was the 3 and Michaud was eliminated.

"Fantastic Shove" from Mavritsakis

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Panagiotis Mavritsakis opened to 7,000 from the hijack and was called by Laurent Polito from the cutoff. Daniel Merlante three-bet to 26,000 from the button, which sent Mavritsakis into the tank. Polito called the clock and as the count began, Mavritsakis moved all in for 116,000. Polito folded but Merlante asked for a count before calling as the slightly bigger stack.

Panagiotis Mavritsakis: K6
Daniel Merlante: KK

Merlante had Mavritsakis crushed but the latter picked up on a flush draw on the J98 flop. The 10 turn left Merlante stunned as Mavritsakis sealed the checkmark with his flush. The 8 completed the board for Mavritsakis to get a surprising double up.

"Fantastic shove man," commented Merlante, who was sat in utter disbelief.

Livshitz Blasts Coletti Off Top Pair; Niste Finishes Him Off

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Mihai Gabriel Niste

Stephanie Bobin was already all in on an extreme short stack as Gabi Livshitz and Stefano Coletti built a side pot of 25,000 heading to the river on a board of 4K34J.

Livshitz then moved all in from the small blind and Coletti, in middle position with around 50,000 left, open-folded KQ. Livshitz showed 53 for two pair, while Bobin also had KQ as she tripled up.

"Nice play. I put you on a four," Coletti told Livshitz.

The next hand, Mihai Niste raised to 8,000 under the gun, Coletti moved all in from early position, and Niste called.

Stefano Coletti: QJ All in
Mihai Niste: AK

"I'm live, at least," Coletti said as the flop came K8A to give Niste two pair. "Not anymore," he added.

Niste improved to a full house on the K turn, while the river was the 8 and Coletti was eliminated.
