Lococo, Nanos Interrogate Each Other

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Heads-up on a board of 797J, Dimitrios Nanos bet 12,500 from the hijack before Alejandro Lococo raised to 43,000 on the button.

"Pocket eights, my friend?" Nanos asked Lococo.

"i can have something like ace-ten with the ace of hearts. Or king-queen," Lococo replied.

"You have eights, my friend," Nanos added.

"What about you? Aces? Nut flush?" Lococo then asked Nanos. Another player at the table eventually called the clock after several minutes.

"You have to call in the last second," Lococo said as the countdown began. Nanos allowed the clock to reach zero and his hand was declared hand.

Lococo allowed him to choose one of his cards, and Nanos picked the Q. Nanos then slammed down his chips while Lococo took in the pot.

Alessandro Adinolfo opened to 2,500 from early position before Charles Whitehouse three-bet to 8,000 from the hijack. Reigning FPS Main Event champion Mateusz Moolhuizen was forced all-in from the big blind for crumbs and he would be against two players, as Adinolfo called.

Adinolfo check-called for 6,000 on the KQ9 flop before the 8 turn checked through to the K river. Adinolfo chucked out 5,000 and Whitehouse folded.

Adinolfo tabled AQ for kings and queens to take the side pot. Moolhuizen, who was blind, first flipped over the 3, which was then followed by the 6, marking his departure.

Baroukh Wakes Up With Aces at the "Murder Table"

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Remy Mougel moved all in for around 28,000 from the small blind and Fowzi Baroukh called in the big blind, while the rest of the table got out of the way.

Remy Mougel: KQ All in
Fowzi Baroukh: AA

Mougel had run into Baroukh's aces as the 46K flop gave him some hope with top pair. The 6 turn took away some of his outs, while the 9 fell on the river to send him to the rail.

"Must be nice to hear all in when you have aces," a tablemate said to Baroukh.

"I was trying to get that gentleman in. Of course I was calling," Baroukh replied, pointing across the table to another player that had initially opened the pot.

"This is a murder table. Aces, kings, queens," another tablemate added.

Rascle Avoids the Bad Beat

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Benjamin Lebor opened to 2,700 from under the gun and was called by Harrie Snijders from the next seat over. Yohan Rascle moved all in for 18,000 from the cutoff, with only Snijders making the call.

Rascle tabled 99 and began to laugh with Snijders as he held 99.

The J72 flop kept things all square but Snijders turned a flush draw after the 8 came into play.

"No, no, no," begged Rascle.

The 10 river offered a sigh of relief and the pot was chopped after both players ended up with a straight.
