Joshi Gets a Gift

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Sachin Joshi opened to 3,000 from under the gun before Boris Angelov three-bet to 7,500 from the cutoff. Mohammed Lasheb called from the small blind and Joshi also stuck around.

On the 986 flop, Lasheb checked before Joshi led out for 6,000. Both opponents called.

On the K turn, Lasheb ripped in his big stack and then Joshi called off his stack of 28,500. Angelov folded.

Sachin Joshi: 88 All in
Mohammed Lasheb: Q10

Joshi was the huge favorite with his set of eights, while Lasheb was drawing to his double-gutter. The 2 river gave Joshi the checkmark to double up.

Lasheb was left with around 60,000 after the hand, but that quickly evaporated as he has since been eliminated.

Huge Cooler in Four-Bet Pot

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jorge Rios
Jorge Rios

Jorge Rios opened to 4,000 from early position before Sergio Brignoli made it 12,000 from the cutoff. Rios four-bet to 27,000 and was called.

Rios continued for 7,500 on the AKJ flop and snap-called for his last 40,000 after Brignoli moved all in as the bigger stack.

Jorge Rios: KxKx
Sergio Brignoli: Q10

Both players had huge hands, with Rios having a set of kings while Brignoli had flopped the stone-cold nuts.

The 65 runout failed to fill Rios up, and he left the table following the coldest of decks.

On the 3107 flop, Halatsch went all-in with his last 10,000 after Asgoudakis checked to him. Covaciu folded, and after a brief moment of thought, Asgoudakis called.

Around 50,000 was already in the pot as Angelo Castriotta and Nicola Mattei went to the river on a board of A7883.

Castriotta then bet 30,000 from the small blind. Mattei was in the hijack and tanked for a minute before calling.

"You have only a flush draw," Uri Gilboa told Castriotta before the cards were flipped over, and Castriotta did indeed show 65 for a missed flush. Mattei turned over A10 as he took the pot.

Deborah Nizard leads this table with a stack of around 220,000.
