Boughareb Hero-Calls for Tournament Life

Power Path winner Guillermo Sanz kicked things off, raising to 700 from the hijack. Vladimir Erceg three-bet to 1,800 from the cutoff to 1,800 before Kamal Boughareb made it 6,100 from the small blind. Sanz folded before Erceg called.

Boughareb check-called for 4,700 on the 652 flop, leaving him with around 8,300 behind. Boughareb checked when the J turn came in, and Erceg put him all in. After some time in the tank, Boughareb called.

Crocetta Checks Back a Boat

Heads-up on a flop of QQ4, Matteo Martorelli bet 1,500 from under the gun and Antonio Crocetta called in the cutoff.

The turn was the 3 and Martorelli bet 2,500. Crocetta again called and the A fell on the river.

Martorelli slowed down and checked, and Crocetta checked back. Martorelli had KQ for trip queens, but Crocetta turned over 44 for a flopped full house.

"Wow. Collusion," tablemate Frederic Delval joked.

Heads-up on a board of 9510Q, John Bizzarro bet 3,200 from the button and Aram Amiryan called in the cutoff.

The river was the 3 and Amiryan moved all in for 8,600. Bizzarro tanked for more than two minutes until eventually calling.

Amiryan turned over A7 for the rivered nut flush and Bizzarro mucked Q9 for two pair.

With around 12,000 in the pot on a board of Q738, Anthony Dasbourg bet 8,000 from the big blind.

Emanuele Di Giacomo spent a minute counting out his remaining stack before calling. The river was the 2 and Dasbourg moved all in.

Di Giacomo snap-called for around 13,000 with KK, but Dasbourg had AA to win the pot and send Di Giacomo to the rail.

Tahar Said then raised to 17,000 on the button and Alessio Peciarolo moved all in for around 22,000 in the hijack. Ploch folded, while Said snap-called.

Peciarolo showed Q8 for a flush, but Said had KK for a full house to send Peciarolo to the rail.

Action Flop

Action was caught on the flop with 5,000 in the middle in a single raised pot.

With the 976 board on show, Cyril Mira checked from the big blind before Gerald Soldermann bet 1,600. Wei Zheng raised to 5,000 and then Mira three-bet to 14,000. Soldermann went deep into the tank, with Mira calling the clock, Soldermann opted to fold but Zheng stuck around.

The 8 turn checked through to the 2 river. Mira moved all in for around 32,000 as the slightly bigger stack and folded out his opponent.
