Hugo Machado had already contributed 175,000 to the pot when Virgile Turchi shoved all in from under the gun. With only 40,000 remaining, Hugo entered a lengthy tank, prompting a call for time and the floor man's intervention.

At that juncture, with only 40 players remaining and a pay jump on the line, the floor man initiated a countdown for Machado's last 30 seconds. Machado waited until the final moment to push the rest of his stack in.

Scutaru check-jammed for around 1,000,000 on the Q♦8♠7♦ flop after Turchi continued for 200,000. Turchi quickly called for the cards to go on their backs.
