Thomas Gubler opened to 600 from under the gun and was called by Pavlo Vertiiko in the hijack. Valentino Konakchiev then three-bet to 3,000, with Victor Vozian making the call in the big blind.
Gubler and Vertiiko came along to the 9♣10♥J♦ flop, where all four players checked through to the 5♣ turn.
Vozian checked again before Gubler fired 2,700 into the middle. Vertiiko responded with a raise to 8,000, with Konakchiev and Vozian getting out of the way. Gubler made the call and the 4♥ river was revealed.
Gubler checked, with Vertiiko checking behind. Gubler showed A♣J♥ for top pair, good enough to take down another pot as Vertiiko mucked.

Grassi checked the 10♦4♣6♠ flop to Bigot who bet 1,500. Morbee called and Grassi folded. Bigot led the 7♦ turn for 3,000 and Morbee called once more.
The 5♣ river saw another barrel from Bigot, this time for 5,000. Morbee went into the tank for a moment before putting in the reraise to 13,000. Bigot took around a minute before opting to fold, leaving Morbee with the pot.

The K♥ river was checked down. Vozian tabled 6♦10♦ for a pair of sixes but was beaten by Gubler's ten high straight. He showed 7♥9♠ and scooped the pot.

Taran Parmar had moved in with 7♠7♥, but came up second best against the A♠A♦ of Fiodor Martino. As the chips were counted, Parmar was left with just 900 behind, which went into the middle on the very next hand.
Martino was the opponent again, as his K♠J♥ took out Parmar's K♣3♠ for the first elimination of the day.
