Van Luijk flopped a boat and then turned a better full house, marking the end the American's incredible journey at EPT Monte Carlo.
Derk van Luijk raised to 1,100,000 on the button and Rania Nasreddine called in the big blind.

The dealer turned over the 10♦ and Van Luijk spiked a higher two pair to earn the massive double up. Van Luijk went to shake Boris Angelov's hand thinking he had lost the pot before Nasreddine told him he had survived.
"Oh my God, shit. I'm so sorry," Van Luijk said, sitting down to a massive chip lead much to his surprise.
