Konakchiev Likes the Turn

Alberto Lorenzon opened to 500 in early position and was called by Conor Beresford in the hijack. Valentino Konakchiev then three-bet to 2,500 in the cutoff, with Dany Parlafes making the call on the button.

Lorenzon folded while Beresford came along to the J79 flop. All three players then checked before the dealer flipped over the K turn.

Beresford checked to Konakchiev, who fired a bet of 6,000. Parlafes folded, as did Beresford allowing Konakchiev to claim the pot.

Chaboseau Folds Queens Face Up, Correctly

Philippe Chaboseau raised to 700 from middle position and picked up two callers before Michael Dwyer three-bet to 3,500 from the big blind. Only Chaboseau called.

The flop came 862. Dwyer continued for 3,800 and Philippe Chaboseau moved all in for 15,800. Dwyer asked if his opponent would show if he folded, to which Dwyer said he would.

Chaboseau folded and flipped QQ face-up. Dwyer, however, showed AA to show that Chaboseau did make the right fold.
