Bedir Gets Shown a Five

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action was caught on the turn, with around 215,000 in the pot on the J564 board.

Ihar Soika and Selahaddin Bedir were in a battle of the blinds and both players checked.

The 3 river put a four-liner on the board as well as completing any flush draws. Soika led out for 125,000 from the small blind and after using a time bank, Bedire folded.

Soika showed the 5 to show he had at least a pair of fives.

"Ah the tricky one," laughed George Rotariu.

Soika Leads Into Hennen

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Rutger Hennen was in the small blind and stole George Rotariu's big blind with a pre-flop raise.

"Why do you betray me like this? I expect French people to do this, not Amsterdam people. Amsterdam people are living their best life," Rotariu said.

"Especially Amsterdam," Jonathan Pastore added.

Hennen then raised again, making in 40,000 from the button as Ihar Soika called in the big blind.

The flop came 1037 and Hennen continued for 35,000. Soika called.

The turn was the 5 and Soika led out for 40,000. Hennen called as the river came the 6, where Soika bet another 105,000. Hennen folded this time.

"Show the four of diamonds," Rotariu said to Soika, who returned his cards face down.

"You would show," Pastore said.

"Yes, but for me it would be the four of clubs, with the king of spades," Rotariu replied.

"I don't know how you would get to the river," Pastore added.

The flop came AQJ. Guedes checked, Mateos continued for 90,000 and Guedes called. The turn was the 3 and both players checked.

On the 5 river and Guedes made a value bet of 260,000. Mateos managed to get away from his pocket kings, making the fold to lose the minimum as Guedes took the pot.

Troyanovskiy Hero Calls Benitez

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Philipp Wenzelburger opened to 40,000 from the cutoff and received a call from Francisco Benitez on the button before Vladimir Troyanovskiy three-bet to 175,000 from the small blind. Wenzelburger mucked his hand while Benitez made the call.

Both players checked the J33 flop leading to the J turn. Troyanovskiy check-called a 100,000 bet from Benitez.

Troyanovskiy checked again on the 6 river and Benitez bet 340,000. Troyanovskiy went into the tank, burning through four time extensions before finally sticking in the call.

Benitez could only show 22 for a tiny pocket pair that had been counterfeited by the turn. Troyanovskiy tabled AQ for just an ace-kicker to the two pair that was on the board and dragged in a sizable pot.
