Witt Falls to Faggioli

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ugo Faggioli shoved for approximately 15,000 from the hijack and just behind him, Jacob Witt shoved all in for a bit over 12,000. Everyone else folded and a showdown was held.

Jacob Witt: KQ
Ugo Faggioli: A6

Faggioli held a slight lead with his ace, and the 10553J runout failed to improve Witt, who was eliminated.

Bruns Gets Value From O'Dwyer

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The board read 99Q49 and 24,000 was already in the middle in a pot between Bjorn Bruns and Steve O'Dwyer.

Bruns slid forward an 11,000 bet, and while O'Dwyer clearly wasn't overjoyed by the prospect, he made the call.

Bruns showed QQ for the full house and O'Dwyer mucked his hand, now left with crumbs.

O'Dwyer Wins Battle of the Shorties

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

After the previous hand O'Dwyer was left with just 4,500 and was in the big blind a hand later. Action folded to Andrea Crobu on the button who was equally short on 6,700 and he duly shipped his chips into the middle and O'Dwyer made the forced call to put himself at risk.

Steve O'Dwyer: J4
Andrea Crobu: Q7

O'Dwyer was behind and remained so after the A95 flop.

However the J rolled off on the turn to give him a pair of jacks and the 10 river was a brick, sending O'Dwyer a lifeline and leaving Crobu with dust.

Cards were on their backs and three players were all-in, with a short-stacked Victor Canaple and Daniele Sacchi at risk versus Ran Shahar.

Victor Canaple: K3
Daniele Sacchi: AK
Ran Shahar: AJ

Sacchi seemed in great shape for a triple up, dominating Canaple with his better king and Shahar with his better ace.

However the 56J62 runout meant Shahar scooped the pot with a pair of jacks, sending him over the 100,000 mark.

Zebarjad Pays Off Kuziv

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ali Zebarjad opened to 2,500 first-to-act and was three-bet to 8,000 by Ivan Kuziv in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Zebarjad, who called.

Zebarjad check-called a 3,500 bet from Kuziv on the AQ2 flop and an 8,000 bet from Kuziv on the 9 turn.

Zebarjad checked a final time on the 2 river and Kuziv announced he was all in for 27,200 total. Zebarjad went deep into the tanked and mused about what Kuziv could have before making the call.

Kuziv tabled QQ for queens-full and Zebarjad showed he held Q7 before sending his hand into the muck.
