Last year's EPT Paris Main Event champion Razvan Belea had started building a stack throughout the early goings of Day 1e, with around 90,000 in front of him. He opened to 1,700 from early position. Pablo Almeida called from the button before Stefan Dimitrov three-bet to 8,200 from the small blind. Belea, who had both players covered, moved all in which folded out Almeida. Dimitrov had 68,400 and called after a few moments of thinking.
