Zhou Gets Paid by Chidwick in Massive Pot

Stephen Chidwick bet 30,000 from the cutoff on a flop of K♠8♠9♦ and Quan Zhou called in the big blind.

The turn was the 2♠ and Zhou, impeccably dressed in a black suit and sunglasses, led out for 40,000. Chidwick called and the 3♣ fell on the river.

Zhou checked and Chidwick bet 130,000. Zhou then moved all in for around 300,000 and Chidwick tanked for several minutes before calling. Zhou turned over Q♠5♠ for a turned flush and Chidwick mucked his cards as Zhou scooped the massive pot.

The action folded to Joakim Andersson on the button. He open-jammed, covering both Rayan Chamas in the small blind and Joao Vieira in the big blind.

Chamas then made the call for his stack of 56,000, after which Vieira asked for a count. Once he received it, he made the call as well, putting his own stack of 66,000 at risk but having a shot at taking Chamas' bounty chip.

At the same time at another table, Alex Kulev was all in for 95,000 in the small blind, Aleksejs Ponakovs had his 156,000 in the middle from the cutoff, and Boris Kolev had both players covered and at risk in the hijack.

Sam Grafton moved all in for 140,000 in the cutoff as action folded to small blind jean-Noel Thorel, who asked for a count before folding. Duco ten Haven in the big blind also tanked for a moment. "We await the verdict. The jury is out," Grafton said, flashing his cards to a PokerStars media member. Ten Haven eventually called.
