Jakob Miegel limped in from under the gun, and Artur Martirosian followed suit from the hijack. Atanas Malinov completed his small blind before Sven Stok jammed all in for 127,000.
Miegel thought it over for a bit before rejamming his seven-figure stack in the middle, covering all remaining players, who swiftly got out of the way.
Sven Stok: Q♠J♠
Jakob Miegel: 2♠2♥
The 2♣3♥5♦ flop left Stok with little hope, and he was eliminated once the 8♦ turn hit the felt.
The Q♥ river put some salt in his wound, as his top pair could not beat the set of Miegel, who received Stok's bounty token as a reward.
Jon Ander Vallinas and Duco ten Haven checked to the turn on a board of J♠8♠5♣10♥ when Valinas led out for 50,000 from the big blind.
Ten Haven called in early position and the 10♦ fell on the river. Vallinas slowed down and checked, while ten Haven took his time before tapping the felt. Vallinas showed Q♠3♠ for just queen-high as ten Haven turned over J♥6♥ to take the pot.
Ten Haven has built up such a massive stack that a tournament official came over to color him up after the hand. "We're taking a lot," ten Haven was told.
Jamil Wakil was all in for his last 90,000 from middle position and Duco ten Haven called in the big blind.
Jamil Wakil: A♣8♦
Duco ten Haven: 5♣5♥
Wakil needed to win the coin flip to stay alive, but found no help on the 9♠K♣9♥2♣2♦ board as Ten Haven finished with a better two pair to add another bounty chip to his stack.
Adrian Mateos and Daniel Dvoress went heads-up in a blind versus blind confrontation to the turn on a board of 3♦Q♥K♥2♦. Mateos then led out for 42,000 and Dvoress called.
The river was the 9♦ and Mateos moved all in for 96,000. Dvoress leaned back in his chair and let out a loud sigh as he went deep into the tank. He considered the decision for several minutes before giving up his cards as Mateos took the pot uncontested.
Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 40,000 from under the gun and found one caller in Daniel Dvoress in the cutoff.
Thorel put out a continuation-bet of 40,000 on the A♠5♥A♥ flop and Dvoress made the call, leading to the 5♣ turn.
Thorel opted to slow down and checked it over to his opponent, who picked up the aggression with a bet of 95,000. Thorel put in the same amount for a call before both players checked on the 9♥ river.
Thorel showed down A♣10♠ and his trip aces turned aces-full won him the pot as Dvoress swiftly mucked his cards.
Three-handed on a board of A♥8♦K♥7♣ and around 120,000 in the pot, Artur Martirosian bet 40,000 from the button and Stephen Chidwick called in the big blind, as did Thomas Boivin in the cutoff.
The river was the 10♥ and action checked to Martirosian again who bet 160,000 this time. Chidwick folded, but Boivin then moved all in. Martirosian, with around 200,000 remaining, quickly folded.
The next hand, Chidwick moved all in for 105,000 from the small blind and Boivin called in the hijack.
Stephen Chidwick: K♥K♣
Thomas Boivin: 9♦8♣
The flop came 6♥K♠6♣, giving Chidwick a full house and a lock on the hand. The board ran out 5♦4♠ and Boivin paid off the double up.
Yulian Bogdanov open-jammed from under the gun for 80,000 chips and Quan Zhou three-bet to 150,000 from the button. Sergi Reixach tanked for a bit before announcing his all-in for 841,000, which was enough to let Zhou relinquish his hand.
Yulian Bogdanov: A♣5♦
Sergi Reixach: A♥J♠
Reixach flopped Bogdanov near-dead on J♣5♥J♥, and the 3♠ turn secured the elimination. Bogdanov tossed over his bounty token as the 10♥ river completed the board, which Reixach gratefully added to his stack.
