Thomas Boivin

Thomas Boivin raised to 40,000 from under the gun, receiving a call from Quan Zhou in the small blind. Serg Reixach then squeezed in a three-bet to 180,000 from the big blind, after which Boivin moved all in for 765,000.

Zhou quickly got out of the way but Reixach instantly called as the cards were flipped over.

Thomas Boivin: KK
Sergi Reixach: AA

The ultimate cooler had happened, and it was looking like Reixach would scoop up the monster pot when the board ran out 6Q210. However, the K river saw Boivin hit one of his two outs to claim it all.

Reixach was left with 20 big blinds to play with while Boivin obtained 80 of them.

Atanas Malinov: KQ
Elias Gutierrez: A9

Malinov stood up from his seat as the flop came 8Q6, giving him top pair. The 3 turn kept him in the lead, but the A fell on the river to give Gutierrez a pair of aces and sent Malinov to the rail in 12th place.

Mike Watson raised to 40,000 from under the gun before Joakim Andersson three-bet to 90,000 from the next seat over. The action folded back to Watson, who made the call.

Andersson continued for 45,000 on the 29Q flop, and Watson followed with a check-call. On the 10 turn, Watson checked again after which Andersson jammed all in for his remaining 160,000 chips.

Watson snap called with the covering stack, leading to a showdown.

Joakim Andersson: AA
Mike Watson: KJ

Watson had turned a straight and the fate of Andersson's aces was already sealed. The K river rolled off as he was the first player to head to the payout desk.

Elias Gutiérrez
Elias Gutiérrez

Stephen Chidwick put in his last 200,000 chips from under the gun and was looked up by Elias Gutierrez in the small blind.

Stephen Chidwick: AQ

The 1085 flop gave Gutierrez a pair, but Chidwick was still live with a flush draw and overcards. However, neither the 6 turn nor the 10 river brought him relief, and he quickly sought the exit.

Fourteen players remained after the completion of this hand, meaning that play would go hand-for-hand as 13 players receive a cash payout.
