Pilkington-Lewis Good at Showdown

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Damien Pilkington-Lewis opened to 3,000 and was called by Johannes Van Bemmel in the cutoff and Paraskevas Tsokaridis in the big blind.

The 585 flop was checked through by all players.

On the 9 turn Tsokaridis led out with a bet of 10,000 and both Pilkington-Lewis and Van Bemmel called.

The 8 river was checked through by all three players.

Tsokaridis mucked his hand before anyone had shown, Pilkington-Lewis turned over K9 for a pair of nines and that caused Van Bemmel to also muck his hand, Pilkington-Lewis taking down the pot.

Everyone Has a Seven as Iyer Scoops a Monster Off Amar

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Vasyl Palandiuk bet 3,500 from the cutoff on a flop of 779 and Arthur Amar called on the button. Abhinav Iyer then raised to 13,500 in the big blind.

Palandiuk folded, but Amar reraised to 30,000. Iyer moved all in for 81,000 and Amar snap-called.

Arthur Amar: 75
Abhinav Iyer: J7

Both players had flopped trip sevens, but Iyer was ahead with his jack-kicker as the board ran out A2. Amar's stack was counted down and he only had 75,000 remaining and was sent to the rail.

Jeschka Triples Up; Madhariwar Damages Miegel

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Hannes Jeschka
Hannes Jeschka

Hannes Jeschka was all-in and had been called by two players, Krishna Madhariwar and Jakob Miegel.

There was 41,000 in the main pot and 50,000 in the side pot on 4J32 and both active players checked their option.

The 3 river was also checked through.

Jeschka turned over 88, Madhariwar had 77 and Miegel had AK, so Jeschka took the main pot with his pair of eights and Madhariwar had the consolation of taking the chunky side pot with his sevens.
