Shuto Doubles With Aces

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Alexios Zervos opened to 2,500 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 7,500 by Naim Ouachekradi on the button. Tokuya Shuto then four-bet shoved for 36,300 total and Zervos also went all in for 46,000 total. Ouachekradi got out of the way and hands were revealed.

Tokuya Shuto: AA
Alexios Zervos: AK

It was a cooler for Zervos, who found himself in terrible shape with Big Slick.

The 593QA runout kept Shuto best and he doubled up.

Moll Goes Runner Runner for a Double

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Silius Moll: KQ
David Dahan: AJ

Hafner Hangs on Against Mateos

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Adrian Mateos opened to 2,700 on the button and was called by Lukas Hafner in the big blind.

Hafner check-called an 1,800 bet from Mateos on the A55 flop and Hafner checked again on the 8 turn. Mateos overbet the pot for a 15,200 bet and Hafner thought it over for some time before deciding to make the call.

The Q completed the board and Hafner checked a final time. Mateos took a bit of time and deciding to check back, prompting Hafner to table A6 for aces and fives.

Mateos couldn't beat it and mucked — conceding the pot to Hafner.

Majoros Jams Into Neugebauer

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

In a duel cutoff versus button, the 2023 WSOP Europe Main Event champion Max Neugebauer checked and then called a bet worth 3,500 by Peter Majoros on the J52 flop. The same action repeated for 10,000 on the 10 turn and Neugebauer also checked the J river.

Majoros now bet 35,000, which covered the stack of Neugebauer. A brief tank followed and Neugebauer settled on a call, then Imad Derwiche requested if one card could be shown.

Majoros agreed and asked "which one?" after which Neugebauer pointed at the left card. Majaros flipped over the 10 before collecting the pot.
