On a completed board of J♥8♦K♥2♥10♠, Marta Miquel bet 21,500 under the gun, into a pot of 35,000, before Ihar Soika jammed all in from the button, covering the 55,000 or so chips Miquel had in total.
Miquel spent some minutes in the tank but eventually, she put in the call for her tournament life. Soika tabled 9♥7♥ for a flush, which beat the A♣Q♥ Miquel tabled for Broadway.
Alex Kulev was the aggressor on the J♣5♠3♦ flop for 6,000 and 26,000 on the J♠ turn against Stanislav Tishkevich. Both then checked the 10♠ river and Tishkevich showed pocket nines. It was no good, as the Bulgarian WSOP bracelet winner won the pot with ace-ten to surpass his table neighbour by a few big blinds.
Francois-Charles Scapula raised to 3,500 and earned one caller in Miguel Faria from one seat over. David Mcconachie then jammed for 31,500 and Scapula was the only caller with the covering stack.
