Boatman Tries to Trap Lagodich

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Frank Lagodich bet 6,000 from the button on a flop of K87 before Barny Boatman raised to 21,000 in the big blind.

Lagodich called and the 7 fell on the turn. Boatman checked and Lagodich bet 24,000. Boatman called.

The river was the 6 and Boatman checked again. Lagodich this time checked back.

"Good check," Boatman said as he turned over K8 for two pair. Lagodich mucked and Boatman took in the pot.

Madeira Scores Double-Up

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Pedro Madeira was all-in from the cutoff for 38,000 with the bubble approaching, and PokerStars Ambassador Simon Wiciak three-bet to 100,000 from the small blind, forcing out the big blind.

Pedro Madeira: A2
Simon Wiciak: AQ

Madeira was in trouble with his ace dominated, but the K28 flop put him into the lead with deuces.

Nothing changed on the 69 turn and river and Madeira secured a timely double-up.

Glaser Check-Raises Reixach

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Benny Glaser raised to 8,000 as first to act and received a call from Sergi Reixach on the button. Glaser then checked the 682 flop to his opponent, who put in a bet of 7,000.

Glaser threw in a raise to 28,000 and Reixach made the call. The 2 turn was subsequentially checked through before Glaser bet 26,000 on the 10 river.

Reixach quickly mucked his cards and the pot was shipped Glaser's way.

Keating Hits the River to Bust Dato

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Alex Keating raised to 8,000 in the hijack before Andrea Dato shoved for his last 27,000 in the cutoff. "You must be really strong," Keating said before calling.

Andrea Dato: AJ
Alex Keating: Q9

Dato made two pair on the 22J flop and remained in the lead on the K turn. The river, though, was the Q and Keating improved to a better two pair as Dato let out an expletive before making an exit.

"Don't laugh at me. You have a problem? You were rooting for an ace to come. That's how vengeful you are. You just want to see me hurt," Keating joked with table neighbor Alexander van der Swaluw after the hand.

Chan Plays Limit Poker

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Romeric Redjdal raised to 8,000 under the gun and Noa Chan accidentally three-bet to 12,000 instead of a larger sizing. The action folded back to Redjdal, who put in an extra chip for a call.

Chan then continued for 5,000 on the 9108 flop and Redjdal called. The Q turn was checked by both players before Redjdal bet out 15,000 on the 3 river.

Chan swiftly called and Redjdal turned over AQ for top pair. Chan had the better hand with Q10, however, and his two pair won him the small pot.

Benny Glaser

After getting a three-bet from the button through in the previous hand, Benny Glaser opened from the cutoff to 8,000 and Alexey Badulin defended his big blind.

On the AK7 flop Badulin check-called a bet of 7,000 from Glaser.

On the 8 turn Badulin again check-called a bet of 22,000 from his opponent.

The river rolled off the 3, and Badulin checked once more. This time Glaser checked back.

Badulin turned over A6 for a pair of aces, while Glaser had 87, his turned two pair improving to an eight-high flush on the river.
