Jorge Makes Successful Move Versus Hammouchi

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Peter Jorgne
Peter Jorgne

Younes Hammouchi made it 30,000 to go with the A5 in an early position and earned calls from both players in the blinds, Peter Jorgne with the KQ and Igor Picone with the K8.

Jorgne and Picone checked for Hammouchi to continue for 45,000 on the 433 flop. The check-raise to 130,000 by Jorgne forced out Picone but Hammouchi stuck around with his gutshot wheel draw.

Jorgne then fired a bet of 225,000 on the J turn and that was enough to take it down uncontested.

Hammouchi Takes It on the Turn; Then Loses Some

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Lewis Spencer min-raised to 30,000 first to act with Q9, Igor Picone with the 66 in the cutoff and Younes Hammouchi in the small blind with the A3 called. The AJ4 flop was checked by Hammouchi, who was then the only one to check-call a bet worth 30,000 by Spencer.

Hammouchi led the 4 turn for 25,000 and that did the trick to force out Spencer.

Atanas Pavlov opened to 30,000 with AK in the cutoff in the next hand. Hammouchi three-bet to 75,000 with the Q2 and Pavlov jammed for 675,000. Hammouchi asked for a count but folded.

Jattin Pushes Korochenskiy Out the Pot

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Farid Jattin raised to 30,000 from the hijack and Anatoly Korochenskiy called in the cutoff.

Jattin slowed down on the 5JJ flop. Korochenskiy took the lead for 40,000 and Jattin went into the tank.

Jattin used a time bank before check-raising to 135,000. Korochenskiy used his full thirty seconds before making a frustrated fold.

Aerts in the Danger Zone After Ponakovs Spikes the River

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Aleksejs Ponakovs
Aleksejs Ponakovs

Aleksejs Ponakovs moved all in on the button and Pieter Aerts put him at risk in the big blind.

Aleksejs Ponakovs: AQ
Pieter Aerts: AK

Aerts remained in the lead as the board came 5592, but Ponakovs spiked the Q on the river to earn a double up. The dealer initially counted Ponakovs' stack as 335,000 before he realized he had 20,000 more still in front of him as Aerts paid off 355,000 total, leaving himself with just 35,000.

Romain Lewis
Romain Lewis

Romain Lewis open-shoved for 170,000 in an early position and and Lewis Spencer did so for 430,000 in the next seat. It folded all the way to Younes Hammouchi in the big blind and he took a few seconds to fold the AJ.

Romain Lewis: AQ
Lewis Spencer: QQ

The Frenchman had previously doubles through his table neighbour but couldn't repeat the same feat on the 65289 runout. He bowed out in 76th place for €17,250.

[Removed:524] Busts Chuttani Set Over Set

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Sahil Chuttani raised to 100,000 in early position before [Removed:520] moved all in from the cutoff. Chuttani had around 80,000 remaining and slid it into the middle.

Sahil Chuttani: 99
[Removed:520]: JJ

[Removed:524] had Chuttani dominated with his jacks as the QKJ flop gave him a set, while Chuttani picked up a straight draw. The 9 turn also gave Chuttani a set, but it wasn't enough to avoid elimination after the A completed the board.

"One minute. Let me take a picture," [Removed:524] said to the dealer as he snapped a photo of the board.

Kaufmann Wins Last Long Stream Hand Before the Break

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Twenty six thousand were wagered by Younes Hammouchi with the 55 from an early position. David Kaufmann in the hijack made it 78,000 to go with the JJ and it folded back to Hammouchi, who tossed in calling chips.

The 642 flop gave Hammouchi a "gutter to the butter" and he checked. Kaufmann sized down to 45,000 and Hammouchi then declared a raise "to ninety-six", little more than a min-click. Kaufmann called and the K appeared on the turn.

Both players opted to check to the Q river, which completed a potential back door flush. Hammouchi bet 155,000 into 378,000 and Kaufmann called to take it down.
