On the first hand after the redraw, David Tous raised to 85,000 in early position. Jorge Ufano then three-bet to 220,000 on the button and Tous moved all in.
Ufano had around 750,000 remaining and paused for a moment before mucking. Tous showed him Q♦Q♣ as he took the pot.

Eric Afriat raised to 90,000 with the K♣Q♦ in an early position and Ami Barer flatted in the cutoff with 4♥4♣. Aleksejs Ponakovs three-bet to 330,000 with A♥10♦ in the small blind.
That was not the end of it, as Afriat four-bet to 830,000 and forced two folds behind.

Eric Afriat kept up the pressure with a raise to 90,000 from under the gun, holding a suited ace in A♣5♣. Farid Jattin in the big blind was the only caller with the A♦10♦ and checked the K♠3♣2♣ flop on which Afriat had a steel wheel draw.
Jattin check-called for 50,000 and remained ahead on the 6♥ turn, on which Afriat checked back. The 3♠ river paired the board and Jattin overbet for 600,000 into 340,000 with the best hand. Afriat tapped the table and then mentioned his hand after he had folded.

Gonzalo Almeida raised to 80,000 from the hijack and Terry Vlastos made it 200,000 to go on the button. The action folded back to Almeida, who put Vlastos all in for his 845,000 chips.
Vlastos depleted all of his time banks before eventually finding a call for his tournament life.
Terry Vlastos: A♠Q♠
Gonzalo Almeida: A♦Q♣
It was looking like just another chop pot, but the 6♣K♣8♣ flop brought a sweat. The 7♣ turn brought in the flush for Almeida and secured Valstos' departure.
The meaningless 4♦ river was dealt while Vlastos was left sitting with his head in his hands, taking a few moments before getting up to collect his payout.

Eliot Hudon opened to 80,000 from the cutoff and Lorenzo Arduini called from the button. David Tous three-bet from the big blind and folded out both players.
The hand after, Leo Worthington-Leese made it 80,000 from under the gun. Hudon called before Mathias Siljander three-bet to 225,000 from the button. Worthington-Leese got out of the way but Hudon put in a back-raise and Siljander quickly folded.
It was then David Kaufmann's turn to get in the action and he opened to 80,000 first to act. Hudon remained active and called.
Kaufmann check-called for 80,000 on the J♠9♥6♥ flop before the 7♠ checked through to the 3♣ river. Kaufmann led out for 300,000 and Hudon folded after using up a time bank.

Hans Erlandsson made it 100,000 to go with the 8♠8♣ and Eric Afriat defended his big blind with J♣7♣. On a 10♠6♦4♣ flop, Afriat check-raised from 60,000 to 250,000 and Erlandsson snap-called in a matter of a second.
The K♥ followed on the turn and Afriat checked. Near instantly, Erlandsson bet 400,000 and Afriat folded.

Youssef Zereg open-shoved 555,000 from the cutoff and Dimitar Danchev made the call on the button.
Youssef Zereg: A♠Q♠
Dimitar Danchev: A♥10♥
The A♣10♦J♥ flop saw Danchev jump ahead with two pair, but Zereg still had outs. That changed on the 10♠ turn, however, as Danchev's full house locked up the pot for him.
The 7♣ river did not matter anymore and Zereg was consequentially eliminated in 23rd place.
