Duta continued for 55,000 and Afriat made the call. On the K♥ turn, Duta sized up to 105,000 and this time faced a raise to 225,000 from Afriat.
Duta let his 30-second shot clock run down and made the fold with a few seconds left, after which Afriat showed his A♥A♦ to the table.
Alexander Tkatschew had jammed the first hand of the new feature table to steal the blinds. He then raised to 50,000 with the 7♥7♣ and Barny Boatman called with the A♠J♣ in the big blind.
That led them to the K♠6♠3♦ flop on which Boatman checked, Tkatschew bet 40,000 and Boatman called. The Q♥ turn kept Tkatschew ahead but Boatman now had a gutshot, which he opted to check for Tkatschew to check back.

Derk van Luijk raised to 55,000 in middle position and Gregory Fournier called in the hijack, as did big blind Cesar Garcia.
The flop came 2♠9♣2♦ and action checked to Fournier who bet 45,000. Garcia then raised to 140,000 and van Luijk folded, while Fournier called.
Both players checked the A♣ turn and the 6♦ fell on the river. Garcia checked again and Fournier quickly checked back.
Garcia instantly mucked his cards and Fournier took the pot without a showdown.
Mathias Siljander opened to 50,000 from the cutoff and was called by Lewis Spencer from the button.
Spencer called a bet of 65,000 on the 8♥7♣3♣ flop before the J♦ turn checked through to the K♥ river.
Siljander fired out another 200,000 and Spencer called. The former had two pair with his K♣8♦ and Spencer mucked his hand.

David Kaufmann raised to 50,000 under the gun before Ian Bradley made it 225,000 to go on the button.
The action then folded back to Kaufmann, who shoved all in, covering Bradley's stack of roughly 1,000,000 chips.
"Do I want to flip?" Bradley pondered out loud. Ultimately he decided he did as he tossed in a call.
Ian Bradley: J♠J♥
David Kaufmann: A♣K♠
The 3♣8♣7♣ flop gave Kaufmann a flush draw in addition to his overcards, while the J♣ turn saw his flush come in. The board did not pair on the 4♥ river, resulting in Bradley's elimination from the Main Event.

Kaufmann check-called bets of 75,000 and 170,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to read J♥10♣5♣K♠K♦.
Kaufmann checked once more and the start of day chip leader sized up to 550,000. Kaufmann thought it over briefly before flicking in a calling chip.
Mavritsakis tabled J♠J♦ for jacks full of kings and put a dent in Kaufmann's stack.
Barny Boatman made it 50,000 to go with the A♥2♥ and Hans Erlandsson called with the A♣7♦ in the big blind. Erlandsson check-called for 40,000 on the 8♦5♣3♦ flop before they checked the 9♠ turn. Erlandsson then bet the 8♣ river for 150,000 and Boatman folded the inferior ace.
