Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Mathias Siljander
Mathias Siljander

Owen Dodd raised to 160,000 in the hijack before Lorenzo Arduini three-bet to 475,000 in the cutoff. Mathias Siljander then moved all in for around 1,900,000 and Dodd quickly folded, while Arduini peeked back at his cards before joining Dodd in the muck.

The next hand, Siljander opened to 160,000 on the button and David Kaufmann called in the small blind.

The flop came A910 and Siljander bet another 160,000. Kaufmann called and the 2 fell on the turn.

Siljander then bet 500,000 and Kaufmann called. The river was the 9 and Kaufmann checked over to Siljander for a third time.

Siljander then moved all in for around 1,700,000 and Kaufmann snap-called. Kaufmann turned over A9 for a full house and Siljander quickly mucked J8 for a missed straight draw as he headed off to the rail.

With that pot, Kaufmann moved above 10,000,000.

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Lorenzo Arduini
Lorenzo Arduini

Hans Erlandsson raised to 175,000 from the hijack and Lorenzo Arduini made the call on the button. The blinds got out of the way and a flop of 956 was dealt.

Erlandsson continued for 210,000, which Arduini raised to 560,000. Erlandsson then quickly shoved all in, covering Arduini's stack of 2,160,000.

Arduini immediately called and the cards were tabled.

Lorenzo Arduini: KK
Hans Erlandsson: Q9

The 10 turn saw Erlandsson's outs reduced further as Arduini's overpair turned a flush draw. The 2 river did not upgrade Erlandsson's top pair either and he was forced to surrender the majority of his stack to Arduini.

David Tous raised to 125,00 from the hijack and was called by Mathias Siljander in the cutoff. Aleksejs Ponakovs then jammed his final 345,000 chips in the middle from the small blind and Hans Erlandsson called from the big blind.

Tous rejammed for 1,725,000 chips and that forced a heads up showdown as both Siljander and Erlandsson got out of the way.

Aleksejs Ponakovs: KQ
David Tous: 88

Ponakovs paired up on the 2Q2 flop, and no eights appeared on the 4J runout, seeing him end up with almost four times as many chips than he started with

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
David Kaufmann - Aleksejs Ponakovs
David Kaufmann - Aleksejs Ponakovs

Action folded to David Kaufmann who limped in from the small blind. Aleksejs Ponakovs then raised to 210,000 and Kaufmann came back with a reraise to 650,000.

Ponakovs used three time banks before announcing a reraise to 1,090,000. Kaufmann then moved all in for 3,855,000 and Ponakovs called.

David Kaufmann: JJ
Aleksejs Ponakovs: AK

The two players were racing with nearly 8,000,000 at stake as the 10710 flop kept Kaufmann in the lead. The 4 turn was safe for Kaufmann, while he secured the double up on the 7 river to rocket near the top of the chip counts. Ponakovs, meanwhile, was left on an extreme short stack.
