Jattin made top pair on the Q♥8♠7♥ flop, but Barer remained ahead with his overpair. Jattin check-called for 225,000 which brought in the 9♥ turn. Now with a flush draw, Jattin check-called again for 325,000.

The 8♦ river gave Barer the checkmark and he was rewarded with a third street of value as Jattin called his bet of 575,000.

After some hands had been won preflop, Aleksejs Ponakovs limped in from the small blind and Dimitar Danchev checked in the big blind.

Both players then checked on the J♣8♣9♦ flop before Ponakovs bet 130,000 on the 5♦ turn.

Danchev made the call and did so too when Ponakovs sized down to 115,000 on the 9♠ river. Ponakovs showed 5♠5♣ for a full house and took down the pot.

Dimitar Danchev Eliminated in 16th Place (€53,000)

Right as Leo Worthington-Leese was being eliminated at the other outer table, Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 120,000 in the cutoff before Dimitar Danchev three-bet to 310,000 on the button. Ponakovs then moved all in and Danchev snap-called for 1,500,000.

Danchev had Ponakovs dominated as the flop came 4♦K♠K♥ to give him trips. "You're almost as dead as the other guy," tablemate Lorenzo Arduini, referencing Worthington-Leese's bustout, told Ponakovs.

The J♦ fell on the turn and a murmur went around the table as Ponakovs picked up a flush draw. The 9♦ came on the river to complete his flush and send Danchev, the last remaining past EPT champion, crashing out of the tournament.

The remaining 15 players are now drawing for seats at the final two tables.

Afriat Continues to Take from Jattin

Farid Jattin opened to 125,000 from the button with K♥3♥ and called when Eric Afriat three-bet to 275,000 from the small blind with A♥J♥.

Both players connected on the A♣7♦3♠ flop, with Afriat remaining ahead. Afriat bet 180,000 and was called, which brought in the 5♠ turn. Afriat continued firing with his top pair and slid out another 250,000 into the middle. Once again, Fattin stuck around with his pair of threes.

The 6♥ river put a four-liner on the board, prompting Afriat to slow down with a check. Jattin opted to check back and Afriat took another pot off the Colombian.

On the 8♥5♥2♠ flop, Barer continued for 175,000. Jattin used a time bank card before raising to 475,000. Afriat released his cards and Barer followed suit.
