Bakker In, Bakker Out

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Erik Bakker had just joined as the dinner break ended, but was out just as quickly.

Bakker raised the button to 3,000 then called the shove of Dimitrios Kilintaris in the big blind, who had a covering stack.

Erik Bakker: KQ All in
Dimitrios Kilintaris: K4

Bakker looked set for a double-up and remained in the lead on the A108 flop. A 7 turn was also safe, but a 4 on the river meant Kilintaris took the pot, which sent Bakker out before he could even get his seat warm!

Peroni Falls to Fungo's Trips

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Razvan Spanache opened to 3,000 from the hijack and was called by Mauro Fungo in the cutoff. Andrea Peroni then shoved for his last 8,000 from the big blind and both Spanache and Fungo called.

Both players checked on the Q55 flop and Spanache check-called a 6,000 bet from Fungo on the J turn.

The 4 completed the board and Spanache check-folded facing a shove from Fungo.

Fungo revealed he held A5 for trip fives, which was best against Peroni's K3 for the elimination.

Clement Michaud
Clement Michaud

There were already around 20,000 chips in the pot on a board of 8792 when Clement Michaud fired out 12,000 from the big blind, and Ritvars Cekalins called in the cutoff.

They both watched the 8 drop on the river where Michaud almost immediately moved in for 28,000. Cekalins sat motionless for around 30 seconds before he finally asked for a count then, after mulling it over, he tossed in a chip, which signified a call.

Michaud then revealed a flopped straight with J10, and the dealer revealed Cekalins' K9 for a pair of nines.
