Margereson Off to a Good Start

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

There were already almost 10,000 chips in the pot on a flop of AAQ when Liviu Nedelea checked to Scott Margereson, who bet 1,800. Nedelea then announced a raise and threw in a chip worth 5,000, and Margereson quickly folded.

Despite that small setback, it's been a great start of Margereson, who has around 85,000 in his stack early on.

It was checked to Mifsud on the A93 flop and he continued for 800. Cooper called and Peter folded.

Cooper checked again on the 10 turn and Mifsud sized up for a 3,000 barrel. This time Cooper thought better of it and let his hand go to send Mifsud the pot.

Joachim Meisolle opened to 600 first to act and was called by Uri Gilboa from directly behind and Giuseppe Milone in the big blind.

Gilboa proceeded to call a 4,200 bet from Milone on the A turn and a 5,000 bet from Milone on the 4 river.

Chatty Table in Level Two

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

On a river of K7578 Markus Vogel had bet 5,000 into a pot of over 15,000. His opponent was Christoph Sporri who was deliberating his decision.

"What do you have?" Vogel asked. "I help you."

"Jacks," replied Sporri.

"Jacks is a hand," said Vogel. "Maybe it's good?"

"I'm glad it wasn't a heart on the river," said Sporri before folding, with Vogel flashing the A and taking down the pot.

With 3,000 chips already in the middle on a 27510 board, Benjamin Millian checked from the big blind and Dan Adamsky bet 1,200 from early position. Millian called.

A 10 paired the board on the river and after Millian checked, Adamsky fired out 2,000. Millian mulled it over for a while, but eventually flicked in a call, then mucked when he saw the trips of Adamsky, who had 109.

Vihakas' House is Full

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

There were already just over 4,000 chips in the middle on a 32107 board when Tapio Vihakas checked it over to Maurizio Carra, who fired 2,200. Vihakas then check-raised to 6,000, and Carra immediately called.

A 2 paired the board on the river and Vihakas shoved.

"How much?" asked Carra, who then got the count of 15,900 from the dealer. Carra counted out his chips and with around 20,000 in his stack, he made the call.

Vihakas then revealed a full house holding 1010, and Carra's trips with K2 went into the muck.
