Rami Exman: A9All in
Daniel Koloszar: AAAll in

Thiemer's Queens No Good in Three-Way All In as Grimm Flops the Nuts

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Frederik Thiemer
Frederik Thiemer

Frederik Thiemer with around 40,000, Denis Grimm with around 60,000, and Vitalii Shcherba with a covering stack all got their chips into the middle preflop.

Frederik Thiemer: QQ All in
Denis Grimm: AK All in
Vitalii Shcherba: AA

Shcherba was in an excellent spot to send his stack soaring towards the summit and Grimm was already standing up in preparation for departure. However, the 7410 flop made Grimm quickly sit back down as he flopped the nut flush to all but lock up the pot. A 4 on the turn did give both Thiemer and Shcherba some outs, but the 7 river was a brick, which meant Thiemer busted, and Grimm almost tripled up.

Zouari Flops Quads

Level 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Jeremie Zouari
Jeremie Zouari

Jeremie Zouari opened from early position to 5,500 and Esteban Cortes shoved for 43,000 from middle position. When it got back to Zouari, he got the exact count then made call, which put Cortes at risk.

Esteban Cortes: AK All in
Jeremie Zouari: 55

Cortes had to win the flip to stay alive, but his chances were reduced to nil when the 556 flop gave Zouari quads! Cortes was drawing dead and didn't stick around to see the 98 runout, and Zouari added the chips to his stack.

Tommy Nguyen
Tommy Nguyen

With around 10,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 4710, Lars-Magne Johansen checked from the small blind and Tommy Nguyen also knuckled the table from the cutoff. Scott Masih fired 3,000 on the button, Johansen folded, and Nguyen called.

On the 5 turn, Nguyen checked, Masih bet 6,400, and Nguyen called.

An A landed on the river and after thinking for a while, Nguyen led out for 20,000. It took all of two seconds for Masih to call and he revealed a set with 55, which gave Nguyen the opportunity to muck without revealing his cards.
