Pononmarev Scores Triple Up

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Komil Khamidov opened to 3,500 and Nikolay Ponomarev three-bet all in from the next position for 23,500.

Patrik Jaros four-bet all in for 28,500 from the next position and it folded to Eros Calderone in the big blind who five-bet all in for over 140,000.

Khamidov opted to fold and all the cards were turned over.

Nikolay Ponomarev: 88 All in
Patrik Jaros: AK All in
Eros Calderone: AK

Jaros and Calderone had each other's outs, with Ponomarev in good shape to triple up. The flop QQ2 had Calderone calling for diamonds, while the 9 turn had him calling for a nine as well to counterfeit Ponomarev.

The river was the 3 and Ponomarev chipped up to just under average which currently stands at 83,000.

Johansen's Stack Down Since Dinner

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Martin Sladek was seen raking in a pot with Lars-Magne Johansen having to cough up the chips.

The full board read 6695Q and the pot of almost 100,000 was Sladek's as he flopped trips holding K6. Johansen's A9 for a pair of nines was no good, which left him with just 15,000 in his stack.

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

There were around 21,000 chips in the pot on a board of J8K2, when Kostadin Kostadinov from middle position checked to Artur Ibragimov who was in the cutoff and bet 13,500. Ibragimov quickly called but action slowed when the 9 fell on the river and both players checked.

Iraklis Manikaros opened from early position to 4,000 and Nikolai Mamut three-bet from middle position to 12,000. When the action folded back to Manikaros, he called.

The duo saw a flop of J89 where the action checked through to the 8 turn. Manikaros led out for 21,000, and Mamut called.

When the 5 dropped on the river, both players checked to showdown and Manikaros showed AQ for ace-high, but Mamut tabled the winner as he paired his five on the river holding A5.

Set No Good for Ibragimov as Dragoun Doubles

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Radek Dragoun opened to 4,000 from early position and Artur Ibragimov three-bet to 13,500 from the big blind. Dragoun four-bet all in for 42,500 and Ibragimov quickly called.

Radek Dragoun: AQ All in
Artur Ibragimov: JJ

The K106 flop gave Ibragimov a flush draw to go with his pocket pair, and although the J turn improved him to a set, Dragoun had turned a straight.

The board failed to pair on the 8 river and Ibragimov could only laugh at the circumstances as he shared a smile with Dragoun who doubled up.

Gkatzas Doubles Through Van Rooij

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Dimitrios Gkatzas opened to 4,000 from early position and Merijn Van Rooij defended his big blind.

Van Rooij check-called a 3,000 bet from Gkatzas on the KA2 flop and check-raised a 3,000 bet from Gkatzas to 10,500 after the K paired the board on the turn. Gkatzas called.

Van Rooij put Gkatzas all in for his last 29,500 on the 3 river and Gkatzas snap-called.

Van Rooij tabled A10 for aces-up, but it was no good against Gkatzas' KJ for trip kings to award Gkatzas the double up.

Bojovic Rivers a Queen to Send Boninsegna Packing

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Fulvio Boninsegna was all in for his stack of around 30,000 and had been put at risk by Luka Bojovic.

Fulvio Boninsegna: JJ All in
Luka Bojovic: AQ

The flop of 549 kept the pocket jacks of Boninsegna in the lead, as did the 7 turn. However, the Q on the river gave Bojovic a bigger pair, which meant Boninsegna was eliminated.
