Flush Over Flush Sees Tropschuh Eliminated By Puccilli

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Stefano Puccilli
Stefano Puccilli

There were already around 50,000 chips in the pot on a board of A755 when Tobias Tropschuh checked and Stefano Puccilli fired 25,000. Tropschuh then shoved for around 40,000, and Puccilli quickly called.

Tobias Tropschuh: 43 All in
Stefano Puccilli: QJ

Tropschuh had a smaller flush but amazingly did have outs to survive as two cards would improve him to a straight flush! However, he couldn't find his two-outer as the 4 completed the board, which left him on the sidelines and sent Puccilli's stack rocketing up the counts.

Margets verified the amount and put in a call to put Yucel at risk.

Volkan Yucel: Q10All in
Leo Margets: A9

Margets had made the right call with her ace, but the K98Q2 runout improved Yucel to a winning pair of queens and he was awarded the double up.

Vladyslav Martynenko: KQ All in
Giacomo Pittaluga: A10

Martynenko needed to connect with the board to remain in the tournament, but was left drawing dead by the time the turn was dealt as the 846A8 runout meant he hit the rail and Pittaluga claimed the pot.

Mills Wins at Showdown Without Revealing Cards

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With around 20,000 chips in the middle on a flop of 746, Eros Calderone checked from the small blind and Sean Mills fired out 15,500 from the cutoff. Calderone called.

A 6 on the turn went check-check, and Calderone led out for 25,000 on the A river. Mills didn't need to think for too long before he called.

Calderone didn't feel like revealing his cards at showdown so he mucked, which meant Mills won the pot without showing his cards.

Arndt Pays Off Oubrecht

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Christian Arndt opened to 6,000 from early position and was called by Tomas Pinkevicius on the button and Marek Oubrecht in the small blind for a three-way pot.

Action checked through on the AK4 flop and then Oubrecht led out for 9,000 after the J landed on the turn. Pinkevicius folded and Arndt called.

The Q filled the river and Oubrecht bet 13,000. Arndt put in a reluctant call and Oubrecht revealed A10 for Broadway.

Arndt couldn't beat it and mucked — awarding the pot to Oubrecht.

Grimm's Stack Decimated, Calderone Benefits

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

After cracking aces with his Big Slick earlier in the day, Denis Grimm just lost the majority of his stack to his table neighbor Eros Calderone.

The full board of 2653K was showing with all the chips already in the middle. Grimm's cards were mucked and Calderone's AK had rivered a pair of kings to scoop the chunky pot.

Muccitelli Shows the Goods

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Davide Muccitelli raised to 6,500 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 22,500 by Yiannis Liperis on the button. It was folded back around to Muccitelli, who called.

Muccitelli checked to Liperis, who continued for 13,000 on the 2K10 flop. Muccitelli responded with a check-raise to 33,000 and Liperis called.

The 4 fell on the turn and Muccitelli announced he was all in, which was enough to put Liperis all in for 115,000 total. Liperis let his hand go and Muccitelli turned over AK before collecting the pot.

Dan Dispatches Cammarata With Broadway

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Gianluca Cammarata
Gianluca Cammarata

With around 80,000 chips already in the middle on a flop of 9QAJ, Jeremie Zouari was first to act and bet 30,000, then Gianluca Cammarata shoved for 92,000. Yurii Dan was behind him and shoved his stack of 151,000 into the pot. With the action back on Zouari, he took some time before he eventually folded A9 face up.

Gianluca Cammarata: A9 All in
Yurii Dan: K10

Cammarata was very displeased with Zouari revealing his cards and it was clear why as two of his outs had been removed as he tried to chase down Dan's turned straight. A 2 wasn't going to make any difference, which meant Cammarata was eliminated, and Dan's stack skyrocketed to around 360,000!
