Action was on a 2♥2♣8♣3♠ turn and Ertan Ates, who had chipped up already to over 70,000 in chips, checked to Christian Carey who bet 2,700.
Ates called and the river was the J♦. Ates checked again and Carey counted out a sizeable 12,500 bet, more than the size of the pot. Ates quickly folded.
Gianpaolo Marchesi opened to 700 under the gun and received a call from Ladislao Dalfo, before Ivan Antala produced a three-bet to 2,800 from the small blind. Both of his opponents called.
The 4♥4♠2♠ flop was checked to the 9♣ turn. Action was checked to Dalfo, who fired out a bet of 3,100, leading to swift folds from his adversaries.
On a Q♦7♣6♦J♦ board, Pawel Wojciechowski bet 6,100 and called a shove from Sofian Benaissa for his remaining chips.
Pawel Wojciechowski: A♦K♣
Sofian Benaissa: K♦10♦
Benaissa had an open-ended straight flush draw as well as his flush, with Wojciechowski hoping for another diamond to double up. The river 10♠ improved him to a straight but Benaissa's flush was best and he sent his opponent to the rail.
Eliezer Asherof opened to 600 in early position, and was faced with a three-bet to 1,700 from Bartosz Piesiewicz in the cutoff. Yurii Parkhomchuk cold-called on the button, and Asherof also came along for the ride.
On the J♥4♣3♠ flop, Piesiewicz continued with a bet of 1,900, which only Parkhomchuk called.
On the 7♣ turn, Piesiewicz check-called a bet of 2,700 from his opponent.
The 7♦ river was checked through. Parkhomchuk tabled K♠K♣ for two pair kings and sevens, which was good versus Piesiewicz's A♣J♠ for the worse two pair.
Piesiewicz chuckled saying "Minimium", thanking Parkhomchuk for letting him off lightly on the river.
Willem De Troyer opened and got three callers. The four players checked the 10♦5♥3♣ flop and the 9♦ turn checked to Peter Farkas who bet. Firoz Mangroe called in late position as did Daniele Grasso out of the big blind.
On the 8♦ river, Grasso shoved and Farkas then moved all in for less, or around 11,000. Mangroe called putting both players at risk.
Daniele Grasso: 5♣5♦
Peter Farkas: 7♦6♦
Firoz Mangroe: Q♠J♠
Farkas immediately stood to take a picture of his straight flush. "The first live one in my life," he said. He more than doubled, with Mangroe's rivered straight enough to win the side pot and eliminate Grasso who had flopped a set.
