Renji Mao opened to 12,000 from under the gun, and Raul Gallego called in the small blind.
The Q♦10♥8♦ flop was checked through. On the J♦ turn, Gallego led out with a bet of 11,000, and Mao called.
The 3♥ river completed the board, and Gallego fired again, putting out a bet of 28,000. Mao folded relatively quickly.
Emil Mattsson on the button moved all in for 73,000, and he was called by Robert Heidorn in the small blind.

The dealer fanned a board of 2♣J♦4♦4♣6♦ which gave the nut flush to Heidorn. Mattsson was eliminated, and the table broke moments later.
Action was picked up on the river of K♠9♠5♣5♥4♥ with around 225,000 in the pot. Jon Kyte had checked from the hijack to Daniel Rezaei on the button.
Rezaei used a time bank before declaring 115,000. Kyte then used most of his 30 seconds before raising to 285,000. Rezaei was put in the blender and he deployed two more time banks. He appeared to be hating this spot and ultimately decided to fold.
Rezaei claimed to have folded a king and Kyte windmilled the 6♠6♥ across the table. "Nice bluff" said Rezaei.
Kyte added "I'm not doing that again ever in my life."
Around 80,000 was in the middle on a completed board of K♠9♦2♠6♦8♦, in a hand between Joris Ruijs and Paolo Boi.
Ruijs fired out a bet of 51,000 and Boi flicked in a calling chip. Ruijs showed 8♣2♣ for the rivered two pair, and Boi mucked.
Ka Kwan Lau moved all in for 49,000 from under the gun. Maksim Vaskresenski called from the small blind and had Lau covered.

Lau couldn't find an ace across the Q♦8♣4♠J♦10♥ runout and he was eliminated from the tournament.

"(Gambling mogul) Calvin (Ayre) had a big party at the house, and they came in guns drawn," he said. "And we were fine, but we all had to stay at the party until they checked our passports and everything. I think it was a little bit of a shakedown. But we had a good weekend."

Igor Yaroshevskyy opened to 12,000, and received calls from Christian Pedersen on the button and Robert Heidorn in the big blind.
On the A♣10♠4♥ flop, action was checked to Yaroshevskyy, who fired out a bet of 15,000. Both of his opponents called.
That was the end of the action as the 6♥ turn and 3♠ river were checked through. Pedersen tabled Q♦10♦ for a pair of tens, and that was good enough for the pot.
At another table, Teun Mulder was seen exiting the tournament area after busting.
