Baudry Makes Top Set, Ouertani Put on the Clock

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With just over 10,000 chips already in the middle on a full board of K4Q8J, Wissam Ouertani had checked from under the gun and Hugo Baudry bet 6,500 from the hijack.

According to somebody at the table, Ouertani was taking far too long to act and the floor were called to put him on the clock. A 30-second countdown was initiated and when the clock got to just four seconds remaining, Ouertani called.

Baudry then showed top set with KK, and Ouertani tapped the table and mucked.

Schusteritsch Fades Tajiou's Outs

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Josef Schusteritsch shoved for 16,000 over the top of a Mounir Tajiou raise. After the rest of the table folded, Tajiou called.

Josef Schusteritsch: AK All in
Mounir Tajiou: A10

Schusteritsch had Tajiou dominated and looked likely to double. However, the Q79 flop gave Tajiou a flush draw. The K turn paired Schusteritsch, but offered Tajiou with some additional outs to win. The 7 river was clean for Schusteritsch, and he doubled up.

Adderley Wins Main Pot, Der Megreditchian Survives

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Amirouche Zekhmi raised from the cutoff, John Adderley three-bet to 5,000 from the small blind and Jacques Der Megreditchian called all in for his last 2,000 in the big blind. Zekhmi called the raise to take the action to the flop.

The flop came 375 and Adderley fired out a bet of 2,500, which Zekhmi called. Both players then checked it back on the 6 turn.

The river was the K and Adderley moved all in with a short stack of around 10,000. Zekhmi muttered something and then made the fold to give Adderley the side pot.

Adderley had KJ for a pair of kings. Der Megreditchian turned over 73 for two pair to win the main pot and triple up his short stack.

Set Over Set Helps Freslon Double

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With 10,600 in the pot on a flop of KA7, Enguerran Freslon bet 2,500 from the big blind with Karim Maekelberg calling from the cutoff.

The 8 came on the turn and Freslon check-called a bet of 7,000 from Maekelberg.

When the K fell on the river Freslon led out for 3,000 with 10,000 behind. Maekelberg shoved to put Freslon all in and Freslon snap-called.

Tajiou's Kings Hold Up, Iwanov-Petkin's Prediction Comes True

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Mounir Tajiou
Mounir Tajiou

Mounir Tajiou had his stack of 12,400 in the middle preflop and was at risk to Pasi Sormunen. Dimitar Iwanov-Petkin had a decision to make having already put in a few chips and said "I will fold the winning hand," then laid down pocket jacks.

Mounir Tajiou: KK All in
Pasi Sormunen: Q10

"I didn't expect you to be that strong," said Sormumen.

Tajiou was well ahead with his pocket kings, but it seemed that Iwanov-Petkiv was correct when he said that he'd fold the winning hand as the A6J flop would have given him a set. The 27 runout didn't change anything, and Tajiou doubled up his stack.
