Beresford's River Bluff Called, Busts Soon After

Picking up the action on the river, the board was 3♦Q♠9♥10♣3♠ with around 35,000 in the pot. Conor Beresford shoved all in and Thomas DeRooij made the call for 36,000.

Beresford showed A♦J♥ for a bluff with a missed straight draw, while DeRooij had K♦Q♥ for a pair of queens to win the pot.

Beresford was left short and a couple of hands later he moved all in again, shoving his last 10,000 into the middle on the turn with top pair. His opponent, Attila Zab, called and flipped over a set of tens and Beresford was eliminated. He wished the table "good luck" as he headed for th exit.

On a board of A♠K♥4♠7♦K♣, there were already 9,000 chips in the pot when Christian Rudolph fired a bet of 2,200, and Finn Zwad quickly called.

Rudolph flipped over K♠Q♥ for trips, and Zwad chuckled as he mucked.

"It was a good river for me," said Rudolph.

"Worst River in World" for Schneiders as Ivanov Makes Quads

Felix Schneiders raised to 1,000 from the hijack. Fintan Hand, who had chipped back up considerably after being down to less than 15,000, called on the button, and Lyudmil Ivanov called in the big blind.

The flop paired when it ran out A♠10♥A♦ and Ivanov checked. Schneiders made it 800 to go, which both Hand and Ivanov called. The turn was the 7♦ and Ivanov checked again. Schneiders sized up to 6,500, almost a pot sized bet. Hand folded and Ivanov called.

The river came the A♣ and Ivanov checked. "Worst river in the world," said Schneiders as he checked behind to showdown.

Schneiders had 7♥7♣ for a full house, while Ivanov flipped over A♥J♣ for quad aces to win the pot.

It was indeed a bad river for Schneiders, but he saved himself from elimination by checking back the river.

Chen's Boat Sends Sandev Home

Ritcars Cekalins opened for a raise to 1,100 from the hijack with Yuhang Chen calling from the cutoff and Georgi Sandev defending out of the big blind.

Cekalins bet 1,200 on the 2♥10♠J♠ flop and was met by a raise to 3,500 from Chen. Sandev cold called from the big blind, but Cekalins folded.

The 10♦ turn saw Sandev check-call a bet of 4,700 from Chen.

When the 7♣ fell on the river and after Sandev checked, Chen bet enough to put Sandev all in. Sandev thought it over for a few moments before making the call for his last 12,700.

Sandev had a pair of jacks, but was behind the whole way to the boat of Chen.

With around 12,000 chips in the middle on a flop of 3♣4♠Q♦, both Yauheni Tsiareshchanka in the small blind and Mario Colavita in the big blind elected to check to see the 5♦ drop on the turn.

Tsiareshchanka reached for chips and fired out 7,500, the Colavita shoved with a covering stack. Tsiareshchanka had around 20,000 behind and quickly folded, which meant Colavita took the pot.

The flop came 4♣K♦8♦ and action checked to Freslan, who made a continuation bet of 1,200. Only Maekelberg made the call. The turn was the 6♣ and Freslan checked. Maekelberg made it 2,000 to go and Freslan folded to give him the pot.

A K♣ on the turn was checked through to the 6♣ river, where Yaghmai put out a small bet of 1,200. Veksler called and quickly mucked when he saw the J♦8♠ of Yaghmai.

The action was picked up on a flop of 4♣10♣J♦ and Gab Yong Kim betting 2,300 from the button into two opponents. Sachin Joshi folded from the small blind, but Yauheni Tsiareshchanka called from early position.

After Tsiareshchanka checked the 7♥ river, Kim bet 11,000 which was enough to put Tsiareshchanka all in. Tsiareshchanka called and the cards were revealed.

Action folded around to Bruno Bernardino, who open-raised from the button. Pierre Calamusa three-bet from the big blind and Bernardino called.

The flop came 3♠9♣9♦ and Calamusa continued for 5,000, which Bernardino called. On the 4♣ turn, Calamusa slowed down with a check before Bernardino placed his own bet of 5,000 in the middle. Calamusa called to take the hand to the river.

Both players checked to showdown on the 9♥ river. Calamusa had A♦K♥ for ace-high with the trip nines on board. Bernardino had him beat with 5♠5♥ for a full house, nines full of fives, to win the pot.
