Mack Doubles With Pocket Pair

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Following an open-raise to 10,000 from middle position, Artsiom Lasouski moved all in from the button for 48,000, then Barak Oz raised to 120,000 from the button. Adrian Mack called in the big blind and the rest of the table folded.

The flop came 5102 and Oz checked. Mack bet 45,000 and Oz folded to leave Mack and Lasouski to flip their cards. Mack had 77 and Lasouski had KQ.

The turn came the 3 and river the 4. Mack held with his pocket sevens to win the pot, doubling his stack.

Mack Hits the Jackpot to Bust O'Donoghue

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Liam O'Donoghue
Liam O'Donoghue

Liam ODonoghue got his last 120,000 into the middle preflop with Adrian Mack being the player trying to bust him.

Liam O'Donoghue: QQ All in
Adrian Mack: 77

O'Donoghue looked poised to doubled through Mack if his queens could hold up.

The flop of 732 was disastrous for O'Donoghue as Mack improved to a set of sevens to take the lead. O'Donoghue stood up out of his chair and Mack replicated this to try and counter the stand-up run good. It seemed to work as the rest of the board ran out K2 to give Mack the winner with a boat, sending O'Donoghue to the rail.

Another Classic Race Underway

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Alexis Andre opened the action to 10,000 from middle position and received a three-bet from Lasse Hansen to 26,000. On his direct left, Simon Hajek moved all his chips into the middle. The action folded back to Andre, who folded his hand, and Hansen called.

Simon Hajek: AK All in
Lasse Hansen: QQ

Hajek’s tournament life was at risk as he needed to hit something to stay alive. However, the 59798 board provided no help, and he exited the tournament.

Neugebauer Bets Compatriot Schusteritsch Out on the River

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

There were around 40,000 chips in the pot on a K4103 when Max Neugebauer led out from the small blind for 30,000. Josef Schusteritsch was the only caller from the big blind.

A 6 dropped on the river and after thinking it over, Neugebauer announced a bet of 75,000 and put the chips into the pot. Schusteritsch gave it some thought, but ultimately decided to relent to his countrymate, which meant Neugebauer took the pot.

Enrico Camosci
Enrico Camosci

Enrico Camosci opened the action from early position and was three-bet by Ivan Zhechev from the small blind, which he called.

The dealer put out the 73K flop, and Zhechev made a continuation bet of 20,000. Camosci called. The action slowed down on the 6 turn, as both players elected to check.

The 6 completed the board, and after using a timebank chip, Zhechev checked again. Camosci announced all-in for the effective stack of 250,000 of his opponent. Zhechev went deep into the tank but eventually decided to fold.
