Chisu Doubles Through Mack

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Danut Chisu
Danut Chisu

Danut Chisu moved all in from the cutoff for 510,000, and the action folded to Adrian Mack in the big blind. Mack asked for the exact count and made the call.

Danut Chisu: A10 All in
Adrian Mack: 66

Chisu's tournament life was on the line, needing to improve to stay in the game. The dealer spread a JKJ flop, giving Chisu additional outs. The 7 turn changed nothing, but the K river put two pair on the board, counterfeited Mack’s hand, and secured Chisu the double up.

Arjel Daci
Arjel Daci

Arjel Daci raised from the hijack to 80,000 and Umberto Ruggeri called in from the cutoff. Barak Oz also called from the big blind.

The flop came 9Q3 and Oz checked, then Daci fired 125,000. Ruggeri got out of the way, and Oz bumped it up to 300,000. After a while, Daci shoved for around 900,000, and Oz snap-called.

Arjel Daci: KQ All in
Barak Oz : Q9

Daci had flopped top pair, but was way behind to the two pair of Oz. An A on the turn did have Daci a few more ways to survive, but the 7 river wasn't one of them, and he was out in 22nd.

Ruggeri Leads the River

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Umberto Ruggeri made it 80,000 to go from the hijack and Fabian Bartuschk three-bet to 200,000 on the button. Ruggeri called.

A flop of 276 saw Ruggeri check-call a bet of 130,000 from Bartuschk to the 5 turn, which went check-check.

When the 7 completed the runout, Ruggeri led out for 300,000. Bartuschk put in a time bank card and after using the extra time, he elected to fold.

After the A turn, Kapeller checked once more and Ruggeri continued with a 50,000 bet. Kapeller called again.

Studniarz Remains Active

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Sylwia Studniarz
Sylwia Studniarz

Sylwia Studniarz came back from the dinner break a little late, but wasted no time in getting involved in a few hands.

First, Studniarz raised from middle position and got a call from Tjenno Eskes on the button.

They saw a flop of QA2 where Studniarz fired 75,000, and Eskes called to the 8 turn. Studniarz slowed down and checked, then Eskes fired 250,000. Studinarz came back with a check-raise to 600,000, and Eskes quickly folded.

A few hands later, Siarhei Alontsau raised from middle position to 80,000 and Studniarz defended her big blind.

On the 234 flop, Studniarz checked, Alontsau bet 80,000, Studniarz raised to 225,000, and Alontsau folded.

In the very next hand, Jaehyung Park made it 80,000 on the button and Studniarz three-bet the small blind to 300,000. Park then four-bet shoved for around 930,000, and Studniarz had a decision.

"Do you want a call or not?" she asked. Park shrugged his shoulders and after thinking some more, Studniarz folded.

Oz's River Bet Forces Ruggeri to Fold

Level 25 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Barak Oz kicked off the action with a raise to 80,000 from under the gun, and Umberto Ruggeri, sitting on the button, responded with a three-bet to 240,000. After assessing his opponent's stack, Oz called.

The 1087 flop and the K turn saw both players check, keeping the pot manageable.

When the Q hit the river, Oz seized the opportunity and fired a 900,000 bet. Ruggeri, out of time bank cards and with only 30 seconds to decide, agonized over the call. In the very last moment, he folded, conceding the pot to Oz.

Adrian Mack
Adrian Mack

Paul Runcan opened to 80,000 from the cutoff, and Adrian Mack three-bet to 210,000 from the button. Action folded back to Runcan, who responded with a four-bet to 480,000. Mack, with not much left behind, moved all in, and Runcan made the call.

Adrian Mack: 77 All in
Paul Runcan: AA

Mack found himself in a difficult position, and his hopes dimmed further when the dealer put out the 8AJ flop, giving Runcan top set. The 10 on the turn provided Mack with plenty of outs, but the 4 on the river was not one of them and Mack was eliminated in 21st place.
