Buldygin Bluffs into the Nuts

With around 19,000 in the middle on a board of A♠10♥6♠7♥. Viacheslav Buldygin checked from early position and faced a bet of 12,000 by Sergey Lebedev from the hijack. Buldygin check-raised to 45,000 and Lebedev called.

The Q♣ fell on the river and Buldygin shoved for roughly 100,000. Lebedev snap-called.

Buldygin showed king-high with K♥9♥ for a missed combo-draw. Lebedev flipped over K♠J♠ for the rivered nut straight, sending Buldygin to the rail.

Buldygin quickly reentered and is sat with a fresh starting stack.

Kuznetsov Extends Lead

Markkos Ladev raised to 2,500 and Nikita Kuznetsov called in the blinds. The flop was Q♣10♠9♦ with Kuznetsov check-calling 2,000.

The 2♣ turn saw Kuznetsov check-call 10,000 and he checked the 10♥ river to Ladev who checked behind.

Kuznetsov tabled 10♣9♠ for a full house and took down the pot.

"Why no value bet?" he asked Ladev as he extended his lead at the top of the chip counts.

Artisom Lasouski raised to 2,500 from the cutoff and Espen Jorstad called from the button. Markkos Ladev squeezed to 11,500 which only got called by Jorstad.

Ladev checked the 2♣8♥6♦ flop and faced a bet of 7,000 from Jorstad. Ladev called.

Both players checked down the 8♦ turn and 7♣ river. Ladev flipped over A♦A♠ for a pair of aces to take down the pot.

Steve O'Dwyer opened to 3,000 from the button and was called by Sergey Lebedev in the small blind. Yauheni Tsiareshchanka was in the big blind and three-bet to 15,000.

O'Dwyer then shoved and got two quick folds. He's the clear chip leader at Table 2 as the first level of the day draws to a close.

Viacheslav Buldygin called from the small blind before Steve O'Dwyer raised to 4,500 from the big blind. Buldygin called.

Buldygin check-called a bet of 7,000 from O'Dwyer on the A♣K♠5♠ flop.

The two players checked the 7♠ turn for the 4♣ to hit the river. Buldygin led out with an overbet of 55,000 and after a few moments, O'Dwyer raised enough to put Buldygin all in. Buldygin had roughly 160,000 remaining in his stack and after a brief pause, tossed his cards into the muck.

Nikita Kuznetsov opened from the button and called a three-bet from Artsiom Lasouski in the small blind.

The flop came J♣10♥2♥ and Lasouski continued for 17,000. Kuznetsov called. With around 55,000 in the middle already, Lasouski bet again on the 5♣ turn for 51,000 and Kuznetsov called.

Lasouski used a time bank after the 8♦ was dealt on the river before betting 65,000. Kuznetsov used two time banks before moving all in, with Lasouski quickly folding.
