Thousands flocked to the Casino Barcelona hoping to begin the 2025 PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona festival with a flourish, but only 13 are still alive with a chance at the trophy when Day 4 of the €1,650 PS Open begins at noon local time.
The rest of the field is looking up at Japan’s Kazuhiko Yotsushika, who takes a commanding chip lead of 32,400,000 into the event’s final day. In second place is Malaysian high roller Chin Wei Lim (19,800,000), who is looking for his second career EPT title to go along with his more than $15 million in live earnings.

Ben Zech (19,755,000) has been near the top of the leaderboard for much of the last two days and sits in third place, while Mengshi Tian (16,525,000) and Daniele Cuomo (13,875,000) round out the top five. Others still in the hunt include Efrim Erdinc (10,900,000), Alexis Nicolai (9,950,000), [Removed:526] (7,175,000), Bernardo Neves (6,650,000), and David Taieb (4,275,000), while Adis Zukanovic (3,950,000), Yakiv Syzghanov (3,800,000), and Jakub Sterba (2,325,000) will have to battle back from a short stack if they hope to reach the final table.
The action on Day 4 picks up on Level 35 with blinds of 200,000/400,000 and a 400,000 big blind ante. Levels are 60 minutes long until the final table is reached. The structure then changes to hand-for-hand, with 24 hands being played per level. The remaining 13 players are guaranteed €49,550 for making it this far out of 5,036 entries, while a spot at the final table is worth €92,770. The eventual champion takes home €772,000 out of the record-setting prize pool, the largest in this event’s history.
