Reid in Oscar Contention as Houlou Shows a Flush

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Terrance Reid and Christophe Houlou went to the turn on a board of 9967 when Reid bet 115,000 from the cutoff. Houlou called on the button.

Reid checked the 10 river and Houlou bet 300,000. "Is PokerNews giving out Oscars this year? Maybe you had it the entire way," Reid said as he took a minute before folding. Houlou then showed him AQ for the flush as he took in the pot.

According to Reid, he busted Adria Colomina the previous hand with a flush-over-flush as Colomina, who began the hand with nearly 1,000,000, was sent to the rail.

At another table, Julien Sitbon had opened to 40,000 in the hijack, Umberto Ruggeri moved all in for 250,000 in the small blind, and Sitbon called.

Umberto Ruggeri: A10 All in
Julien Sitbon: AQ

Ruggeri was dominated as the flop came JK9, while the turn was the 9. The 10 river wasn't enough for Ruggeri as Sitbon finished with a straight to earn the knockout.

Stephen Song opened to 40,000 from under the gun and Maxime Chilaud three-bet to 90,000 in the cutoff before Dave Stann four-bet jammed a stack of 315,000 in the big blind. Song folded and Chilaud called.

Dave Stann: KK All in
Maxime Chilaud: JJ

Stann was far in front and nothing changed on the 877 flop, but the J turn gave Chilaud a full house before the 6 river confirmed Stann's brutal bustout.

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Martin Zamani raised to 50,000 in the hijack and Chin Wei Lim called in the cutoff, as did big blind Tristan Forge.

All three players checked the 1095 flop. Zamani then bet 85,000 on the Q turn, and only Forge called.

"What card do you need?" Zamani asked, and Forge shook his head. "No card can help you? Holy shit," Zamani added as the 5 fell on the river. He then bet 400,000, and Forge tanked for a few minutes before folding.

Kilian-Pablo Molero bet 30,000 from middle position on a flop of 1032 and Bohdan Haidashchuk raised to 110,000 in the big blind. Molero called and they saw the 2 fall on the turn.

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jon Kyte
Jon Kyte

Jon Kyte raised to 45,000 in early position before Mateusz Moolhuizen three-bet to 120,000 in the hijack. Kyte then four-bet to 320,000. Moolhuizen spent a few minutes in the tank and eventually moved all in, and Kyte snap-called for 880,000.

Jon Kyte: AA All in
Mateusz Moolhuizen: K10

Moolhuizen had been caught making a move as Kyte showed down a pair of aces. The AQ2 flop gave Kyte top set, while Moolhuizen picked up outs to a straight. The 6 turn was safe for Kyte, while the river was the 10 and Kyte doubled up.

"You lured me in. Kings against aces. Queens against aces. I'm like, you can't have it every time. I guess you do," Moolhuizen said as he handed over the massive pot.
