In a battle between the blinds, Thibaud Martin led out for 250,000 on the 9♦7♦5♣ flop and Bernardo Neves raised to 1,000,000. Martin called, and the 9♥ fell on the turn.

Neves then bet 900,000, and Martin again called. The river was the 8♠, and Neves slid forward a tower of white 500,000 chips, enough to cover Martin's remaining stack.

Martin snap-called for 5,150,000, and Neves was forced to show J♣2♠ for just jack-high. Martin turned over 6♦4♠ for a straight, earning the massive double-up.
